Corsair has won over a new customer
Pros: Popped these two sticks into my Asus a8n premium mobo and were recognized in post no promblem. Helped in games like F.e.a.r and BF2.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Get these and expect no problem with the Asus a8n premium mobo. Thanks newegg for all my parts!
Just settle for router upgrade
Pros: Sleak design, easy WPS setup, LED signal strength gauge, plug and re-plug anywhere without losing router credentials
Cons: After setting up via WPS, signal would constantly fluctuate between high and low between the mobile device and this extender even though they were next to each other. There were not visible improvements in signal for a variety of desktop and mobile devices. I was unable to update firmware which is a suppose to improve performance because the link provided says that domain may be for sale...emailed support about this and have not received a response.
Overall Review: 802.11n 2.4ghz would most likely suffice in many household needs to increase Wi-Fi signal.
Cheap cost does not sacrifice quality necessarily
Pros: These are a cheap memory kit, but do not be fooled the quality of these sticks are very good. The heat sink is sturdy and and does the job well. Low volt use at 1.8 means that finicky motherboards will handle these with ease. Windows 7 64-bit recognized these with ease, simple task.
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: WEI went from 5.9 with a-data to 7.3 with these.
Does what is intended and then some
Pros: Fanless, compact, low profile(two brackets included), good for HTPC, surprisingly decent with older gaming titles, runs cool at around 44c idle.
Cons: It feels kind of flimsy, but for the price who can complain. The bracket that is attached does not line up with the screw to case as seamlessly as I thought. Needs a little bit of pressure to screw in. Not a major issue and does not put the card in jeopardy.
Overall Review: Previously had onboard 6150se, but got this dedicated card and there were vast improvements in Half life 2, Portal, TF2, and Garry's mod. With my 6150 all the game settings defaulted to low, with this card the settings defaulted to high although it was a bit too slow for my taste so I dropped settings to about medium/high and the games ran like champs. If your looking for a HTPC card or light gaming card for older titles look no further.
Still going strong
Pros: 1TB, 32mb cache, fast read and writes
Cons: none at the moment
Overall Review: This is the best 1tb 7200rpm hard drive on the market.
Hidden power in this cpu
Pros: Runs cool, 45nm, low watt usage, possible unlock to Phenom II B50 X4 processor(still a great processor if your not able to)
Cons: none
Overall Review: Was able to unlock with a Gigabyte UD4P 790X AM3/AM2+/AM2 mobo using bios F5 and setting to hybrid and auto in the bios. Ran Prime95 for four hours all cores stable, no blue screen of death or random restarts.
