Good router but heatsinks needed

TRENDnet TEW-652BRP 802.11b/g/n Wireless N Home Router up to 300Mbps/ 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Port x4
TRENDnet TEW-652BRP 802.11b/g/n Wireless N Home Router up to 300Mbps/ 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Port x4

Pros: Price, Wireless connection speed even when signal is low black color

Cons: Firmware is severely lacking

Overall Review: Dlink DIR 615 firmware can be loaded onto router to SIGNIFICANTLY increase user options but you will need to add a heatsink to the CPU to prevent it from overheating

Overall Review: Bought this as a replacement for a Seagate 500GB drive in a Vostro 3450. Has worked out great. If you are looking for a drive with decent capacity and performance at a reasonable price, this is it.

Bad card

TRENDnet TEW-623PI Wireless N Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g/n 32-Bit PCI Rev. 2.1/2.2/2.3 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates
TRENDnet TEW-623PI Wireless N Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g/n 32-Bit PCI Rev. 2.1/2.2/2.3 Up to 300Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: absolutely none avoid Ralink chipset based cards at all costs....

Cons: Unable to maintain a solid wireless connection, Wireless N fluctuates between 1-300mps thus making it impossible to stream anything. In order to get the card to work, had to reduce router to broadcast G only. Other wireless devices such as my HD2 and Studio 1558 run just fine at N speeds

Overall Review: This is the SECOND Ralink based card I have bought and they both do the same thing. The other card was a Rosewill so this is NOT a TrendNet issue it is a CHIPSET issue and from my experience this one leaves a lot to be desired...

Not a good card at all

Pros: Cheap price

Cons: Slower than 54mbit card that it was to replace- even with updated drivers from rosewill.

Overall Review: Definately pass this one by

Poor quality all around

Vantec NexStar DX 5.25" SATA to USB 2.0 External Optical Drive Enclosure - Model NST-530S2
Vantec NexStar DX 5.25" SATA to USB 2.0 External Optical Drive Enclosure - Model NST-530S2

Pros: None

Cons: 1. plastic is brittle- One of the front tabs broke off so now I am using electical tape to hold it together. 2. Unit randomly drops connection to the USB port and then the PC attempts to reconnect at usb 1.1 speeds..have to power cycle unit to restore USB 2.0 connection. 3. Fan makes a loud whirring noise for the first 30 seconds that it is on.

Overall Review: avoid this one.......
