Mushkin Enhanced Redline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 996982

Pros: Very Fast & OC'able. easy to use. I ordered these over a yr ago & have had NO ISSUES. I have been using Mushkin memory for over 4 yrs now. Very reliable & their help desk is extremely knowledgeable too.

Cons: none

Overall Review: I buy ONLY Mushkin memory & would recpmmend the same for everyone.

Excellent Cooling

Scythe SCORC-1000 140mm CPU Cooler
Scythe SCORC-1000 140mm CPU Cooler

Pros: CPU cooling - INCREDIBLE - The fan also cools memory next to cooling tower fins also. I have this beast installed in a Gigabyte Aurora 3D case. It fits the correct way with the top being up. I purchased a 140mm Xigmatek XLF fan - spins at 1000rpm and moves 63.5cfm instead of stock fan. This fan is quiwt as well. Before I installed this cooler, my CPU idled at 40-45C and 55-64 under load with ambient air temp at 75F. Now it idles at 32-36C and 43-45C under load. I also OC'ed my Phenom 9950 to 3.06Ghz without a hitch. stock is 2.6. Not bad.

Cons: None

Excellent Memory

Mushkin Enhanced Redline 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model 996593
Mushkin Enhanced Redline 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model 996593

Pros: OC'ed to 1094 with 2-2gig modules.

Cons: Can only run 8 gigs at 667 clock. This is not a flaw of memory, but a memory controller issue on AMD Phenom 9950.

Overall Review: This is the 2nd time I have purchased Mushkin memory and I am completely satisfied. When I initially installed 8 gigs, my computer wouldn't boot up. BSOD. I called Mushkun directly and they said to post on their forum, which I did. Mushkin Sean had my 8 gigs running in no time.
