Firmware tap-to-click

Pros: - Firmware and Logitech software will correct the absence of tap-to-click - Updates add 2finger-tap-to-right click - Rechargeable battery - Off switch to save battery life - Gestures are cool in win8
Cons: - Had to update right out of the box (feet buttons are inadequate.)
Overall Review: Hope it works with win10...
On the Fence

Pros: - Noticeable difference between onboard Audio - Price
Cons: - Driver Installation is a pain - Very quiet front panel volume Error during installation may be related to a different issue, but it says: "Please connect device" or something along those lines. See Other Thoughts.
Overall Review: May want to lookup: Xonar EEPROM Failure. After unplugging and reseating the card, I can still sometimes get the same error during installation that the card is not connected. Granted, the PCI express card does feel that it's to not seat firmly since the card is long and a little pressure on the end of the card may raise it out of the slot. I have a lingering feeling that I should have bought the PCI express version of the Xonar 7.1 card. I had it on a previous machine and I was very happy with it. I think once I get the driver worked out, I can work around the low FP volume. It's just a little contradicting to have all this stuff about headphone boost. I'd rather not have to plug and unplug cables when I want to switch between speakers and headphones.
Looked Good on Paper

Pros: - Nice clear wide screen - Wide keyboard with number pad - Touchscreen is kinda fun - Thin design - Windows 8 performed nicely - SD card reader
Cons: -Touchscreen smudges - Flimsy LAN port cover - totally unnecessary and annoying - Irregular square power jack - Power brick gave the impression of low quality See other thoughts
Overall Review: I tried to rate this fairly despite the laptop dropping dead after the first week. A USB drive was plugged into one of the ports and the laptop shutdown. The next day, the same thing happened but then the laptop wouldn't power on after that. Before you suggest the battery died coincidentally - it was plugged in when it died both times. Tried other sockets on different breakers, blah blah blah. May have been a lemon, may be poor design. A lot of the cost seems to be hogged by an unnecessary touchscreen. If you have a mouse, why use touchscreen? If you want a tablet, I'd get a tablet. Not much of a con since it balances out, but no CD drive. Yeah, yeah, who uses CDs anymore when you can use USB, sure, but it's nice to have if you need it. On the other hand, you don't have to pay for it if you don't use it. Decided it was time to own an external CD drive and got one discounted during Black Friday sales. If I hadn't gotten this for 33% off, I would have been disappointed, even if it hadn't broken. Newegg had stellar customer service regarding the return. Overall thoughts: I got this despite there being practically no reviews after searching google for about 30 minutes. If yours works, then it may not be a bad laptop. It seems like it can't make up it's mind if it wants to be a laptop or tablet. Returned for a refund and looked at other options for a similar cost.
Good Purchase
- Prompt Delivery - Adequate packaging I don't have any complaints with the purchase and I'd probably order from Zake.com again.
