Fast, sleek, basic laptop1/29/2021 1:45:55 PM

Pros: Snappy, thin frame, light, included 2.5" HDD bracket for 2nd hard drive, USB-C port, 2 x USB 3.0, 1Gb Ethernet port.

Cons: Runs hot, vents through bottom of case and Ryzen 5 4500U runs warm. 4GB soldered on MB. Windows 10 Home, not Pro.

Overall Review: In spite of other reviews complaining about the low-res 1366x768 screen, didn't bother me. Older eyes appreciated the lower DPI ;-) Replaced the replaceable 4GB stick with 16G giving 20G overall, added a 2nd spinning disk for dumping data and reducing write load on included WD 512G M2 SSD. 6-core Ryzen 5 4500U and snappy, didn't test 3D performance. Nice laptop, would buy again.

Not good10/16/2014 11:58:01 AM

Pros: Cheap Bluetooth works well Subwoofer is OK

Cons: Speakers are tinny and sound awful. Short cables from subwoofer to speakers.

Overall Review: Disappointed in sound quality. Thought it may be bluetooth but bad quality persisted while connected with cable to AUX input. Can't return to Newegg so money is lost :-( Don't waste yours.

Works Great10/16/2014 11:54:31 AM

Pros: Fast throughput on 5Ghz channel Supported and easy to flash OpenWRT

Cons: USB port couldn't drive all my USB drives. Added a powered USB hub and it worked great.

Overall Review: Replaced an old TrendNet 802.11g that was dropping wireless connections sporadically. Until now, the TP-Link TL-WDR4300 has been rock solid. Nice having dual band (2.4 & 5Ghz) and the 5Ghz is fast. After flashing OpenWRT, the router has become a smooth running Linux server with attached USB storage shared with the network.

Works good9/23/2009 1:00:12 PM

Pros: Works with any hdd I've thrown at it so far. Like the on/off switch on the PATA/SATA power.

Cons: Power brick is a bit chunky. Cables could be longer.

Buyers Beware!! Failure very likely.10/7/2007 4:49:43 PM

Pros: It's white.

Cons: I purchased a SPH200D 2 1/2 months ago. Worked great. Worked so well I purchased 2 more. One works. The other seems to have a failed Ethernet port. Now the Ethernet port on my original device failed last night!!! Tech support have been unable to help me. Do not buy this!!

Overall Review: Other people are having the same issue with the Ethernet port failing See:

Random not as expected1/6/2006 10:58:57 PM

Pros: Small, looks OK,USB 2.0,sounds OK to me with good Bose headphones

Cons: Displays song index in list only - not tite; When on random, 'Next' moves it to the next song in the index - not the next random song.

Overall Review: I got this for the odd plane flight. Planned on loading it up with songs, switch to random, and forget about it. The random feature does not work as expected tho. Disappointing.
