Non-Overclocker Perspective

AMD FX-6300 - FX-6000 Series Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor - FD6300WMHKBOX
AMD FX-6300 - FX-6000 Series Vishera 6-Core 3.5 GHz Socket AM3+ 95W Desktop Processor - FD6300WMHKBOX

Pros: If you are the sort of person that wants to put together a budget build and don't plan to overclock, say you just want to put it all together and game or web browse etc. this processor is very capable. Idle temps around 30c and highest I've seen is 45c under load with stock cooler and of course no overclocking. At idle I haven't seen the cpu usage in task manager go over 5% and in games I have yet to see over 33% usage across all cores. So if you are like me and just like to game without thinking about clock speeds and frequencies, this is plenty for you.

Cons: Didn't come in the tin can like earlier versions? lol

Overall Review: For daily use, even mid-high gaming, I would personally bet it will do everything you need it to and useful for the future when games start utilizing more cores.

Most Critical Review

Great case, Bad Fans!!!

DEEPCOOL TESSERACT SW Mid Tower Computer Case with Side Window and 2 Blue LED Fans SGCC+PLASTIC+RUBBER COATING
DEEPCOOL TESSERACT SW Mid Tower Computer Case with Side Window and 2 Blue LED Fans SGCC+PLASTIC+RUBBER COATING

Pros: Spacious, a lot more than you might expect from this case for this price. Pre-installed standoffs for my ATX board was a nice touch, cable management is relatively easy as long as you are somewhat careful and use the cable ties and mounting points on the backside. Top actually has room after everything installed for a h100i or similar water cooling solution. Toolless mounts for drives were simple enough with some drawbacks (see cons).

Cons: The fans on this case were pretty much dead within a day or two of normal use, I find that a huge problem for airflow and day to day use. The toolless bays have screws that I recommend you use for the drives otherwise if you are using a mechanical drive the sound of the vibration is unbearably loud! I recommend if you are getting this case for the price, use that extra budgeting overhead and get better fans. But you get what you pay for in the end

Overall Review: Has a lot of strengths for the price they ask for it but make sure you plan your build carefully and be mindful of the cable management, if you are relatively sloppy or simply don't do it, you may end up having difficulty closing up the left side of the case.

Great for the price

Enermax AQUAFUSION 240 ARGB White, All-in-one CPU Liquid Cooler for AM4 & AM5 / LGA 1700/1200/1151, 240mm Radiator, Dual-Chamber Water Block, SquaA RGB Fan - AM5 & LGA1700 Compatible
Enermax AQUAFUSION 240 ARGB White, All-in-one CPU Liquid Cooler for AM4 & AM5 / LGA 1700/1200/1151, 240mm Radiator, Dual-Chamber Water Block, SquaA RGB Fan - AM5 & LGA1700 Compatible

Pros: Not difficult to set up, works well and the price is great for what you get. I have heard stories about the block getting gunked up but have yet to experience any problems myself.

Cons: There is an audible whine from the pump that is kind of loud. Can hear it through my headphones if I'm not playing music or chatting with friends. Checked Temps and flow rate, so far nothing out of the norm so that's just something to consider in and of itself.

Overall Review: Excellent product, I wanted something to fit my theme and my budget and this gave me both.

Easy to setup, works well!

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151

Pros: This cooler does wonders, needed a low cost option for my $600 build. Fitted with 2 Noctua NF-P12 fans I had lying around were a match made in heaven! Overclocked to 4.7GHz with 1.35 volts am able to still keep temps under 60c! Even with the stock fan it came with at stock settings temps were well in check. For the price this cooler is hard to beat!

Cons: None that I can think of other than maybe the tips of the copper heatpipes on top appear to be bent out of shape but it could have just as easily been in shipping.

Overall Review: Not really a con but when attaching the brackets to the fans be extra careful! It didn't feel like it was quite snug yet but the bracket still snapped so be mindful when setting up fans for this cooler.

Reliable brand, hasn't failed yet

EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B1 110-B1-0750-VR 80+ BRONZE 750W Semi Modular Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B1 110-B1-0750-VR 80+ BRONZE 750W Semi Modular Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply

Pros: I knew prior to purchasing that EVGA is a reliable brand. Have owned several graphics cards from them all the way back to 7300 GT which still works to this day. I wanted something that would run all the hardware at the time which I needed to play every game I was interested in at the time. The price with that in mind was really eye catching considering it is 750 watts, a strong 12v rail, with headroom to upgrade my gpu if I choose to, 80 plus bronze so it is efficient, Modular so cable management was an absolute breeze (my first experience with a modular power supply). The packaging was nothing too fancy but still elegant to me with the EVGA logo straps around the individually packaged cables. The warranty is good as well, at 5 years I feel on top of the reliability and headroom I have for my personal rig that it isn't likely to fail, however, if it does, I know that I don't have to worry about replacing it. I have owned this PSU for almost 8 months now and it hasn't given me any quirky voltages and is wonderfully quiet. Honestly, at this price point for a budget to mid-range PC in a unit that offers all of this, it is extremely difficult to say anything bad about it. In my Deepcool Tesseract SW case it runs 4 120mm fans, 1 140mm fan, 120GB adata ssd, 1TB WD Blue, EVGA Geforce 750 Ti FTW edition, and an FX-6300 on the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 Rev. 4.0 with 8GB of G.Skill 1600mhz ram. As far as power supplies go, it's enough for me and hasn't failed yet.

Cons: As in Pros section, if I had found anything wrong in nearly 8 months of use, it would go here, but that hasn't happened. Will update if that changes but don't hold your breath.

Overall Review: Not a fanboy but I do tend to stick to what works, this unit simply does for me, I can't testify to other people and how their experience was with the power supply, warranty, RMA etc. Hope it helps anyone on the fence about what to buy.

Highly Underrated!

EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card
EVGA 02G-P4-3757-KR G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 FTW w/ ACX Cooling Video Card

Pros: I saw a mixed set of reviews before I got this card but really had to balance price and performance so I gave it a shot. I'll just say this card has handled anything I've thrown at it so far with flying colors. The black mounting bracket, black pcb and logos just look amazing through the window panel of my case. I managed CoD Ghosts all cranked up at full 1080p and got 60 fps average without any trouble at all! 3dmark for firestrike was roughly around 8-9k. If you want something to plug in and be able to play all the latest games I would say this card can handle it far better than you might expect.

Cons: None at all.

Overall Review: Reviews are useful but don't be afraid to do a little research as well, this price to performance ratio worked for me and it may work for you as well. It has ran in my system for a week now without any issues and the fans won't be too terribly noticeable unless you are super picky about acoustics.
