Worked fine for what I wanted

Rosewill RC-209-EX PCI 2.3, 32bit, 33/66Mhz SATA Controller Card
Rosewill RC-209-EX PCI 2.3, 32bit, 33/66Mhz SATA Controller Card

Pros: Provided me with 4 more SATA ports when my old machine just didn't have any ports to spare. Connected 2 SATA drives internally and they have worked fine since. When using one of the drives transfer speeds are on par with my other SATA drives.

Cons: It seems like if you use more than one connection inside the controller at once, the SATA speeds start to suffer. This makes logical sense as PCI only supports 133mb/s at its highest rate, and more often 100mb/s, so it should start dividing that bandwidth between your drives if they are accessed simultaneously (this is PCI by design, Rosewill and any HDD manufacturer have no control over this). I could see this as a huge problem for anyone wanting to run a RAID with more than 2 drives or anyone wanting to run their system off this with other drives. My system drive is luckily on my motherboard SATA controller, so this issue is very uncommon for me as one drive on the controller is for standard storage, and the other is for when I do manual backups. It never becomes a problem while I'm actually using my machine, so I'm happy.

Overall Review: I noticed complaints about not being able to use all 6 connectors. One, it clearly explains this switching method to activate 4 of the 6 ports of your choice short of which jumpers to use in the description, and Two, if you thought you were getting a controller with six ports that were all working at once... you were looking at way too low of a price range. your going to have to shell out quite a bit for one of those, and then again with the PCI throughput issues I wouldn't want to connect 6 HDD's to this if I had them.

Overpackaged

TDK 700MB 52X CD-R Inkjet Printable 100 Packs Spindle Disc Model 48758
TDK 700MB 52X CD-R Inkjet Printable 100 Packs Spindle Disc Model 48758

Pros: They are plain and burn fast, what you would expect in this type of disk.

Cons: The disks are simply too stuck together, it says to carefully pull them apart but even knowing that I've managed to screw up the tops from three out of the first ten with one bad enough that it couldn't be used.

Overall Review: TDK usually makes good stuff, but I can't exactly recommend these CD-R's. The case was so thin I thought that the CD's were on their own at first, not sure if it would last so I didn't put it as a pro or con.

Boost cell phone storage

Kingston 4GB microSDHC Flash Card Model SDC4/4GB
Kingston 4GB microSDHC Flash Card Model SDC4/4GB

Pros: Gave my cell phone a large enough music collection with space to store documents and pictures if I need to. I also replaced the SD dummy in my Netbook with the SD adapter, so I can pop it into my Netbook anywhere to load a to-do list on my phone if I want to.

Cons: Its slow, but what do you expect from these things? The only daily things I'm transfer are bus schedules and to-do lists and it does that instantly. My 2gb's of music I put on there took about 20 minutes though, glad I won't be doing that often.

Overall Review: Get all your music or whatever on it at once, then its good to go! I really want a 16gb card though... I'd be able to carry more music on it that I'd ever need.

Fantastic surge protector

BELKIN BE112230-08 8 Feet 12 Outlets 3780 Joules Surge Protector with Telephone and Coaxial Protection
BELKIN BE112230-08 8 Feet 12 Outlets 3780 Joules Surge Protector with Telephone and Coaxial Protection

Pros: I bought this to replace an older Belkin that had finally gave out under all its abuse. More outlets, shorter cord (believe me the last was 20 ft and just a pain), smaller unit size, and outlet protectors that won't leave you wondering why you didn't break them out with a screwdriver the moment you noticed them (which for me is 99% of them).

Cons: Nada, got all my stuff plugged in and I'm happy.

Overall Review: There is no Ethernet protection like a similar model I have in another room, but they happen to still sell that model and thats my fault for not noticing when I got it.

Works fine for me

BYTECC C6EB-15W 15 ft. Cat 6 White Enhanced 550MHz Patch Cables
BYTECC C6EB-15W 15 ft. Cat 6 White Enhanced 550MHz Patch Cables

Pros: It matches my MacBook MiniDVI cable, and it goes just about as well with the case and powercord. Doesn't look out of place anymore and I'm happy with that.

Cons: The clip protector is terrible for a MacBook, it gets caught right in the gap between the notebook when its closed so I just chopped mine off and am dealing with the risk of breaking the clip.

Overall Review: Since the clip protector cuts right off, its a 5 star product even with the original fitting issue. Not a cablemakers fault Ethernet ports tend to be in the absolute least intelligent spots.

Its like a PDA or iPhone... but actually useful!

ASUS Eee PC 901 XP - Pearl White NetBook Intel Atom 8.9" Wide SVGA 1GB Memory 12GB SSD Integrated Graphics
ASUS Eee PC 901 XP - Pearl White NetBook Intel Atom 8.9" Wide SVGA 1GB Memory 12GB SSD Integrated Graphics

Pros: This thing is freakin fantastic... it fits in just about anything including a few of my shorts cargo pockets, it lasts long enough for me to take it along without its power cord, the screen probably couldn't me much more readable for its size, and ridiculously enough has one of the best touch pads I've EVER used. I can piggyback a wifi just about everywhere I go with this little thing if it can't find a public one. The white color just seems better for a netbook in my opinion.

Cons: Windows XP Home is basically a cheesy horror movie on your PC lots of warnings but nothing that can actually scare you, due to its overprotective and firewall that can't be configured for most ports. I'd recommend you find a way to get XP Pro on this or move on to Linux immediately. I could come up with 20 better keyboard layouts off the top of my head, but it works when you get used to it. The hinging seems cheap, but I'll have to see how well it holds up. I've seen worse designs last a long time.

Overall Review: Get one, you'd be surprised how many uses it can have once you think of them.
