Simple, Inexpensive, and Outstanding
Pros: It comes with surrounds for 3.5" or 5", and it just plugs in and runs. Hard drive trouble? Just plug the bare drive into this, and check it. If you have USB 2.0, it runs very fast. If you have USB 3.0, it screams.
Cons: None that I can see.
Overall Review: I've used this to diagnose and repair multiple drives from a massive system failure. It's going to be part of my standard repair kit from now on.
Excellent Stand-up Desk. Use a table top for it.
Pros: Set up was easy and fast. Pay attention to the directions and don't skip steps, but it's easy. I recommend setting the control buttons back a half inch from the table edge, so you don't hit them on things when raising and lowering. I used a table top from an existing standard table. Just unscrew the frame and screw this on. It's worked perfectly for 2 1/2 years now.
Overall Review: Absolutely recommended. No issues at all.
Just the thing for Canon EOS XT
Pros: The speed (120x) is high enough that the Rebel XT does not overload it shooting RAW until about six frames are snapped in rapid mode, then it only takes about a second to clear. I've filled the entire card up several times with no problems.
Cons: 120x is fast enough for just about anything. If you were shooting a lot of action sports and liked to to a lot of rapid mode shooting, you might want to get a faster speed.
Overall Review: Works great in the Rebel XT, even though the specs don't mention how big a card you can use.
Solid, flawless operation
Pros: Worked simply, reliably, the first time, and has never failed. Fast and effective. Installed in three minutes, and I haven't had to pay attention to it since.
Cons: None I can think of.
Overall Review: Not much else to say. It's easy, simple, and fast.
