great hub
Pros: looks nice on the desktop, good construction.
Cons: short usb cable. it takes the right angle to be able to have it sit at the edge of my desk instead of on the computer case but that's just preference so I won't take an egg for that.
Overall Review: performance, convenience and the hot swap ability of drives is what I expected and what I got in this purchase. 5 eggs here.
great aio
Pros: came with LGA 1700 bracket that previous buyers complained about not having. good hose length from pump to rad so placement options arent a concern. great temps
Cons: depending on your mobo, keeping the wires looking clean and how the hose connection are facing can be an issue. i couldnt move the hoses to the left or right side due to a heatsink on the mobo and my ram on the other side so the hose connections face down which is fine but the power connectors are now all on the right side and push up against my ram. you can sort of move it out of the way but it's not the best. I was going for function over form so i dont really care how good or bad it looks as long as it does its job.
Overall Review: - I've used nzxt in my last 2 builds and knew what i was getting into as far as the cons but this is a great cooler and reliable brand in my eyes so I'm using it again. It keeps the 13900k at or below 50 degrees running warzone, spiderman and godOfwar at max settings in 4k
great box
Pros: i7 packs a punch to handle just about anything. gpu is amazinggggggg. plenty of usb ports configurations for performance are easy with the new uefi plenty of room inside the case clean and careful cable management inside drive bays adapt to 2.5 and 3.5" and are easy to remove to install drives
Cons: no windows 10 disc or product key even though its telling me it should be on the right side of the case --i'm not dinging an egg for this though. if youre looking at this pc, your most likely an enthusiast and what enthusiast doesnt have an OS boot and key? the ac600 adapter isnt great. only picks up 100mbps in 2.4ghz band. would use as an upgrade on an older pc, not as the primary adapter on a beast like this.
Overall Review: it says 3-DisplayPort plugins and 1HDMI; it actually has 2 of each keyboard and mouse are just like any other keyboard and mouse so no complaints bios and all drivers were up to date no junk apps preinstalled was a nice surprise this was cheaper than a build with the same components. (got on sale at 1299) UPDATE: 5 months in and still going strong. A few things i noticed and eventually changed. the cpu cooler is weak... i looked it up and its a $15 fan, so obviously not going to do much for games at max load.I was running GTAv and would run at about 65C which i wasnt a fan of. so I switched to a noctua cooler and replaced the 3 fans inside with 140mm corsair fans and put another intake fan on top of the case for the cpu. graphics inensive games now round at about 45C and idles at about 32C. For those talking about the fan noise....you can hear a small hum but it's nothing that overrides the sound in your headphones or anything like that. for a powerful machine, youre going to have someeeee noise. i swapped the 120mm fans for 140mm and can barely hear it.
great boost in speed
Pros: modern and sleek design. took my speed from 144mbps with an internal 6200n to 1.3Gbps
Cons: large magnet base makes this stable when off to the side, but have to be careful with your external drives!
Overall Review: stronger signal increase than i expected I never bother with driver discs, they always seem to be out of date so i didnt even try. I plugged it in right away and used a driver utility with no issues.
