Just what I needed

Eagle Tech 250GB USB 2.0 / eSATA 2.5" External Hard Drive w/ built-in USB cable ET-CS2250PESU2-BK Black
Eagle Tech 250GB USB 2.0 / eSATA 2.5" External Hard Drive w/ built-in USB cable ET-CS2250PESU2-BK Black

Pros: Small size Built in USB cable

Cons: Maybe the cable length, but no problem for me. A little surprised that it doesn't shut off when you eject it in Windows (XP), but haven't had a problem.

Overall Review: This drive is just what I needed to keep my data handy at all times. The size is great, and the case is durable. The built in USB cable is exactly what I wanted for a portable drive. No fuss with a cable. No power needed. I'm using it with an older HP laptop (nx6125) with no power problems. I'm just using the built in cable. It did come with a USB power cable but I haven't needed it. I have no complaints so far. No problems with speed, I'm running it fully encrypted (using TrueCrypt).

Most Critical Review

USB Storage limit

Linksys WRT350N Wireless-N Gigabit Router with Storage Link Draft 802.11n, 802.11g, 802.11b, 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3x, 802.3ab, USB 2.0
Linksys WRT350N Wireless-N Gigabit Router with Storage Link Draft 802.11n, 802.11g, 802.11b, 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3x, 802.3ab, USB 2.0

Pros: Easy setup, good features

Cons: USB hard drive size limit is 300GB. Not in any documentation. Had to talk to Linksys support to find out.

Overall Review: Good overall, but I wouldn't have bought it if I had known of the 300GB limit. No good to me now.

Problems like everyone else

Linksys WRT610N Simultaneous Dual-N Band Wireless Router IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab, 802.11a/b/g, Draft 802.11n
Linksys WRT610N Simultaneous Dual-N Band Wireless Router IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab, 802.11a/b/g, Draft 802.11n

Pros: Easy setup - when it saves the settings. Lots of features - when they work.

Cons: My big problem has been with the Storage Link. Sharing is flakey, works sometimes, doesn't sometimes. My concern is data integrity. Sometimes folders disappear and don't show up again until a power cycle. Often get read, write, or permission errors. Linksys support determined it is defective, but I am pretty certain that the replacement will be no better.

Overall Review: I really want this to work because it provides features that I need to use. Not expecting much though. This might just end up being a plain old wireless router for me.
