Pros: The HP 12C Platinum calculator is much faster than the traditional 12c. The 12c is the only calculator to use rpn, and this newer model, for a few dollars more, can also be switch to algebraic mode, making it more versatile. I did a side by side comparison of the two 12c models, and the Platinum is instantaneous in its calculations. The 12C traditional one take a bit longer, but not too bad if that is the one that you end up buying.

Cons: I cannot think of any.

Overall Review: Newegg.com had the best price and inexpensive shipping using UPS Second Day. I ordered the product on a Thursday afternoon and got it Monday morning. Very impressive. Good tracking of shipment too.
