Best Drive I Ever Had

Pros: I used 5 of these in my Thecus N5200 and they are AMAZING. they are very quiet. I would recomemend these to everyone who is looking for a great drive at a good price.
Cons: Absolutley None
Have Not Lost The Cap Yet.

Pros: It is a great drive and i love the fact that it is not plastic like some of the other flash drives i have had. It is fast but it could always be faster. and after my rebate i will have only paid $8 for an 8GB drive...you cant beat that.
Cons: The cap!!! while it does use friction to hold it on, it is not as secure as i would have hoped. The cap is the only reason i did not give the drive a perfect score.
Best Drive Ever

Pros: I have 10 of these drives in my 4U rack mount server in a RAID 6 array and I have never been happier. These drives have allowed me to get almost 8 terabytes worth of storage and thanks to my RAID card I can expand that any time I want. These Hitachi drives have by far the best reliability of any brand out there. I have had a total of 20 drives in the last few months and not a single drive failure. That is something that no other brand I have ever had can even come close to. I love the fact that the drive has a 32MB cache which makes this drive just scream. It is just a little behind the WD Raptor in terms of speed but it has a TB of storage. So to me hte 7K1000 beats ny other drive out there, hands down.
Cons: The only con this drive has is the up front cost of the drive.
Overall Review: I have read that a lot of people are complaining about the heat that these put out and from what I can tell they don’t put out any more than any other drive I have ever had. Granted I always keep a fan on any of my drives but I would think that everyone should do that.
