Almost an awesome case...

Cooler Master COSMOS 1000 RC-1000-KSN1-GP Black/ Silver Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Cooler Master COSMOS 1000 RC-1000-KSN1-GP Black/ Silver Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Very roomy, decent airflow, liked the toolless bits.

Cons: Cable management is impeded by the large bar running across the back of the motherboard tray to which the back panel latches. I wanted to run my CPU power lead behind the mobo panel from where the PSU sits to the top of the board where the header was located, but found that after doing so I couldn't attach the backside panel.

Overall Review: I picked this case for a workstation grade machine to host dual Xeon X5680s because it looks professional (lacks lights and windows), and because of the apparent sound deadening qualities. Seems like a good case, but it didn't quite meet my OCD level cable management standards. If Coolermaster reads these, I suggest cutting a notch in the crossmember behind the mainboard tray to which the back panel attaches to allow the routing of cables from the PSU to the top of the mainboard.

Nice chip

Pros: What an awesome CPU. I can't seem to bog it down.

Cons: This thing runs hot.

Overall Review: I put this in an Intel S5520HCR board, and put them in a coolermaster cosmos (some fabrication required) to function as a workstation for some cpu intensive analysis software. I started with Intel's active cooler, which just couldn't keep up. If this chip isn't going in an air conditioned server room in a chassis with turbine fans, I'd recommend a Corsair H50. This thing makes that much heat under load.
