Its a basic keyboard and mouse and it works
Pros: A good old-school wired keyboard with a slightly more modern mouse (no ball). It works and has the right layout. And it does not cost much !
Overall Review: Sheesh, how many thoughts can someone have about a keyboard and mouse that work well at this price ?
Great i7 Motherboard
Pros: Everything not listed under Cons, is perfect.
Cons: No way to know why it fails to POST if the case does not have a speaker. (I knocked it an egg for this, which reflects my perfectionism rather than any real weakness in the MB)
Overall Review: If you only use 3 memory modules, populate the memory slots away from the CPU rather than those nearest. Currently running Windows 7rc 64bit and boots in about 20 seconds.
Very nice case, some minor niggles
Pros: Very spacious case with (almost) everything you need supplied. Genuinely tool-free design apart from installing the PSU. Has e-Sata port on front panel (actually on top, along with USB, Firewire and speakers) which is useful for connecting an external hard drive for backups.
Cons: The rear fan connector is too short. CM supply extension leads to Molex connectors, so it is functional, but loses the ability to control the fan speed. They should provide fan cable extensions as well or longer cables in the first place. No Speaker. For many people this would not be a problem, but the P6T motherboard does not have an LED POST code display and so there is no way to know what is wrong if it fails to POST (not a problem for my build, but it could have been). Front panel is REALLY hard to remove and it feels like you are about to break it when forcing it. Fortunately, mine did not break and it should only need to be removed rarely, but still. Side panel fan is very loud even on 'silent' mode.
Overall Review: Very happy with the case. I might like to be able to switch off the lighted front fan, but this is not even up to minor niggle level.
