Pretty Good Fan BUT MUST BE CAREFUL

Titan Aluminum Notebook Cooling Pad TTC-G4TZ
Titan Aluminum Notebook Cooling Pad TTC-G4TZ

Pros: *Quiet. -It is much quieter then the fans built into my macbook pro (running at full speed) and those fans aren’t even that loud themselves. Just check the decibel specs for this fan vs. those of others. Don't ever expect fans to be silent. *Can support a lot of weight (see cons) and fit different sized laptops. *Two different ways to cool. -It can both drive heat away from the laptop as well as take outside air and blow it on your laptop. To switch between the two is simple, turn the laptop over. I found this feature really nice as I've heard it from a few people online and put a bit of thought into it my self, but taking heat away can actually cause a vacuum and a more intensified heat to build up internally. If someone can prove this wrong please do, but I’ve found that the method that takes outside air and blows it on the back of the laptop works better anyways. Use this method in room temp works great *Cools Good (see above)

Cons: *Flimsy Retractable Cord -What the others say is true, it can and will break if you mistreat it. When using it, very carefully grab both ends and slowly pull until the cable locks into the length you want. Don't think that you can force it, tug it, or pull only one side without breaking. *Flat. -It does not have adjustable angles which would be really nice *No USB run through -You will lose one USB port. *Slightly flimsy design. -Now although it can support alot of weight (it was able to hold my Launch PS3) the middle retractable component is flimsy. On a level surface with evenly distrusted weight, you have nothing to worry about. *Rubber pad glue no good. -The additional pads they give you to raise it higher for better airflow using the B method have terrible adhesive. Wash and scrape it off before applying and just use dollar store super glue. Other wise, you may lose these pads. *The fan speed and noise levels are not adjustable -Not a big deal since so quiet, but woul

Overall Review: Would have given it 5 stars if not for the fatal flaw. First one I had broke within a month, I believe this to be a combo of personal error and unclear instructions. The only instructions given were illustrations about the different methods and how they work. Only use the method which takes outside air and blows it upon the laptop, if the fan is on a solid surface such as a table. I used to use it on my lap, bed, etc. but made sure that air was still fed. I believe different bed fibers, hair from my legs, etc. damaged the fans. It is okay to use the method in which heat is drawn from the laptop on a bed or lap. This ,misuse of the fan along with my careless use of the poorly made cord, lead to my power supply failure. Luckily, you can get an exchange for free for one year (but I had to pay 8 dollars shipping). I have now been way more careful and replacements 3 months old, only problem is the rubber pads (see cons). Bottom line, it is a very good fan if you mind your surroundings. BUY

TRITTON AX Pro Dolby Digital 5.1 True Surround Sound Headset With 8 Precision Speakers – XBOX/PS3/PC
TRITTON AX Pro Dolby Digital 5.1 True Surround Sound Headset With 8 Precision Speakers – XBOX/PS3/PC

Pros: *Let me get this out of the way first. I’m not some fan boy for turtle beach or astros and I'm not going to recommend another particular product. I’m going to keep it straight forward. Now here's the pros *Really comfortable. Compared to my brothers fatality set, my old over the ears no-gaming head set. This is the most comfortable head set I've ever worn, even after 3 hours of playing. Two types of earpads should fit everyone's particular taste. Unless you have a huge head, these will fit fine. *GOOD Sound (Not GREAT), though it does take a while to calibrate. *Cool illuminated "T" on the earcups. *Not as many cords laying around like many reviewers have made it seem. *Only takes up ONE power socket. A standard outlet has two "sockets. The power adapter powers both the headphones and the audio controller; I thought there was a separate power adapter for each. *The ear cuffs don't close in on eachother like every other head set I’ve seen. *A lot of options for conf

Cons: *Sound is not great. Even after long calibration sessions, the sound is just not up to stuff. Then general problem would usually be that a mid-range sound will come off as higher pitch, or low sounds seem to come from all directions. *The mic extends way to the left *Almost no sense of direction-As a surround sound headset, you be hoping you could tell left from right and forward from back. But when someone throws a grenade to my left, the sound is so extreme that it bleeds to the right. I do not have this problem with normal stereo sets. I can almost fix this problem, but then the forward sounds become to high pitched. *Instructions were kinda wacky. The audio controller clearly says DC input, but the instructions say to plug it into the AC input. Even the picture n the instructions says DC input. Obviously, if it is DC, then the adapter inverts the power, but they should not try to screw with people. Just look at the pictures, and you will be fine setting it up.

Overall Review: *I am so let down, because I got this head set after alot of research. Many have said that this set sounds great until it dies. So I bought the always nice 2-Year Service Net warranty for if that ever happened. I knew the risks of the set breaking, but I figured until that point, It would be the best headset out there. *Granted, I've only had the set for a day, but I’ve try'd COD4, Red Dead Redemption, and the Blu-Ray of Talladega Nights, but nothing seems to be blowing my mind. I’m gonna follow it up with Dead Space tomorrow (my friend borrowed it a while ago, otherwise that would be my 1'st pick for trying out these head phones). That game made me realize how important surround sound was when compared it to normal stereo speakers. Unfortunately I can no longer blast my surround sound, and I learned I played FPS's better with headsets anyways. So I figured a surround set head set would be near perfection. I was wrong. I may be returning this headset. *Expect a follow-up on Mon

LOL, What a Rip Hope No One Has Ever Bought This

Hip Street 160GB HDD PS3 Upgrade Kit
Hip Street 160GB HDD PS3 Upgrade Kit

Pros: Unless the included hard drive is a blessing in disguise (like a 90 dollar 160 gig SSD exists), nothing. Now, I suppose it is possible this company have created a revolutionary new way that magically transfers data from one hard drive to another without first going through a Portable HD (I'm sure this exists, but the average consumer would not possess the knowledge of such a device, and it would probably not be only 90 dollars, or everyone would use it), but I'm pretty sure they didn't. Also, ran out of room below, please note, I do not own this product, I just am very knowledgeable with PS3 upgrades. 90 Dollars is a good price for a 500 gig bare drive for your ps3, or like 1 250 gig portable HD for back up/transfer, and one 250 gig bare drive for your ps3, but for a 160-gig with a bunch of instructions that are found online, 90 dollars is terrible.

Cons: Where to begin. For the same price as this company wants to charge you for a 160 gig, you can buy a 500 gig HDD from any other manufacturer. And the book and video, please, the PS3 almost upgrades its self. The instructions in manuals online and included with the PS3 are plenty good enough for any body to upgrade their system (The old fatty PS3's are way easy by the way, the HDD on the slims is a little harder to get to). Also, they don't include a second hard drive for mass storage. What I mean by this is that to upgrade a drive, you must first back up the data on the drive to an external HD, so that when you slide the new HDD into the PS3, you can restore the data from the external drive.

Overall Review: Only problems I've ever had with PS3 HDD upgrades is that the Laborers drive the screws into the HD caddies with an excessive amount of force. Seriously, I have nearly stripped the screws trying to get them out. (Original fatty PS3 screws where not only driven intensely, they were also a weak aluminum, and stripped way to easy, my friend and I both had to call Sony for replacement screws and caddies). DATA MIGRATION from one PS3 to another is somewhat difficult because of error codes, but upgrades, please, save your money, and buy these: 1) Portable HD able to carry all of your data from your old PS3 (once you have restored your data, you can use it for any computer, or you can even back up PS3 data on it, so its not a one time only thing). 2)New 2.5" hard drive to install in the PS3. 3)Really good precision screw driver set. 4) The instruction Manuel that came with your PS3 (if you don’t have it, it is online, and youtube doesn’t charge you for their videos).

Supriseningly Stays True to The Series

Dead Space: Extraction Wii Game
Dead Space: Extraction Wii Game

Pros: *Great prequel, in my opinion. You will find your self amazed and laughing at the events that partake, and the actions your characters undergo in this game, that directly effect what Isaac must undergo in the original game. As such, it ties in more directly with the story of the first game then the animated movie that was released. *Attention to detail was amazing. Certain areas are just like they were in the last game. On the other side of things, your characters will actually create some of the environments and hazards seen in the first game. You even meet Nicole. *Weapons. The weapon selection is pretty close to that of the first, but with some discrepancies. For example. the ripper is now more powerful, and fun to control with the Wii's interface. *Still violent

Cons: *Pretty short in length (less then 8 hours on hardest difficulty). Then again, most games these days are short, but still wouldn't yet recommend buying it until its like 20 dollars. I got it as a rental. *No where near as frightening as the first. This game has many more characters then the first, which in essence alleviates a lot of fear. On the plus side, the tensions brought upon by the multiple characters, brings a lot of dramatic narrative of the story; that Isaac could not pull off in the first game (seeing as he was alone almost the entire time). So, I guess horror, is sacrificed for drama. But you really do begin to feel for these characters, and will learn to experience horror in a different manner.

Overall Review: *Play the first game first. It is a much stronger game overall, and it allows you to appreciate the subtleties in this game that you may not enjoy had you just jumped right in. *Do some research before you buy games. This game is an on-rails shooter, meaning that your movement is restricted (think the shooters in the arcade). Although this is usually considered a cripple, this is the best on-rails I've ever played. Also, as it is on the Wii, don't expect the graphics to be amazing (although they are better then most other wii games). I heard a rumor a while back that the developers were interested in porting this game to the PS3/Xbox 360, so if the graphics are killing you, I'd say wait it out. Also, story is relevant to the individual. Chances are if you only like the first for its gripping fear and music, and not for the story, then you will probably not enjoy this game. *Final tip...play this game by your self *Overall, I'd give this game an 8 or 10 (hence the 4 eggs)

TYPO FIX:First one died in 2 months, second one died in 4 months

Titan Aluminum Notebook Cooling Pad TTC-G4TZ
Titan Aluminum Notebook Cooling Pad TTC-G4TZ

Pros: As I said in my previous review, it cools well, its quiet, etc.

Cons: My first one died with in two months, and i figured it was because the way i pulled on the cable, and used the fan improperly (such as using the B mode on carpet or my lap). It was under a one year replacement warrenty and newegg replaced it for free, but i had to pay shipping. My new one ive had for about 5 months now (estimate) and I took real good care of it, and now, out of the blue, it has stopped working. Won't power on. This was an expensive fan, like 50 dollars plus 8 dollars to get a new one shipped to me, plus a dollar for super glue to apply the pads my self because the adhesive on the pads they give is horrible. I cant have it breaking for no reason every few months. I assume the problem may be the flimsey cord, so Instead of paying 8 bucks to have yet another shipped to me, I am going to by a 10 dollar dc charger and see if that gets it to power it up, although it does limit mobility. At least if it doesn't work then, I other uses for that cord.

Overall Review: I WOULD NOW RECOMMEND TO NO ONE! I did alot of research looking for a good fan. This one seemed to be the best and served me well. But It is expensive (as compared to other fans), and something that cost this much should be able to survive. Two of them in one year is just horrible, maybe one replacement in a year, but two is absurd. At the time I bought this, there was only one review (and although it was a positive review) on newegg, but I took the risk. There are now 11 reviews, 1 was my original, and 9 new ones, so I'm assuming they purchased theirs after me, and I'm guessing its either a matter of time before their fans fail, or I am just incredibly unlucky. Also the do-it-our self aspect of this angered me a bit. The adhesive on the pads should be permanent, or near so. But my pads started falling off, and I lost one, so I had to craft another pad of equal properties, scrape the original adhesive off, and apply dollar tree super glue which was stronger. Its been a bad experience.

Pretty Good....Although

xantrex POWERSOURCE100 XPower PowerSource Mobile 100
xantrex POWERSOURCE100 XPower PowerSource Mobile 100

Pros: It is very portable with its light weight and small size. It fits in comfortably in my laptop case along with my 15-inch laptop, my external hard drive, and various other cords. I use it to power my hard drive as it is not usb powered, as well as to power my laptop in extreme circumstances. It gets about 2 hours to the charge when powering my laptop (as its manual says it should).

Cons: It doesn't charge my 80 Gig I-pod classic. For some reason, it charges my friends I-Phone 3G and my other friends previous generation 30 Gig I-pod, but not mine which sort of lays in between.

Overall Review: Its a decent buy, would only recommend it for those seeking to charge products via the Power outlet (The normal looking 3 pronged outlet found on every wall in America) as it seems to have compatability issues with usb products it advertises that it works with.
