Performant little desktop!

GIGABYTE BRIX BRI3-10110-BWUS Mini / Booksize Barebone System
GIGABYTE BRIX BRI3-10110-BWUS Mini / Booksize Barebone System

Pros: - It's tiny - just 1.37 inches tall and about 4.7 inches on each side. - It's performant - if all you care about is surfing the internet, checking email, a media center PC to stream Netflix and prime connected to your 4K TV (at 60Hz!), and some light gaming (yes gaming - search for "gaming with i3-10110 and 16 GB DDR4 RAM" on youtube), this is perfect! - It's quick to assemble - Adding the RAM and the M.2 NVMe SSD takes under 5 minutes if you've done something like this before. Otherwise if it's your first time, its easy too. You just need the right screwdriver. - It's Windows 11 ready - of course Microsoft can change their mind after I write this. But I have Windows 11 running on this baby thanks to the Windows insider program dev channel. And its blazing fast. Boots in about 7 seconds with the SSD and RAM I chose. - It's bang for your buck: I got this for $199 on Newegg, and with the SSD and RAM and wireless keyboard/mouse, and Windows 10 Pro and MS Office 2019 from viper keys, the whole thing was well under $400.

Cons: - none

Overall Review: Configuration: - GIGABYTE BRIX GB-BRi3-10110 Mini - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 260-Pin DDR4 SO-DIMM DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) Laptop Memory Model F4-2666C18D-16GRS - Samsung Electronics (MZ-V8V500B/AM) 980 SSD 500GB - M.2 NVMe Interface Internal Solid State Drive with V-NAND Technology - iPazzPort Wireless Mini Handheld Keyboard with Touchpad Mouse Combo for Android TV Box and Raspberry Pi 3 and HTPC and XBMC KP-810-19S - Black This is the first time I assembled with an i3. All my builds have been i7s. I've never even used an i5. And I'm honestly surprised at what an i3 can do. Unless you need to edit video or not bottleneck your beefy graphics card etc., for regular day to day computing an i3 is good enough.

Great small and compact card!

Pros: It fits in my Intel Beast Canyon NUC and that makes me happy.

Overall Review: The graphics are top notch. I have an old games library on Steam and my newest game is Streetfighter 6 from 2023. I am able to run these at 4K with 160 fps.

Fully Loaded Beast Extreme!

Pros: - Can run all my Steam library (most recent game Streetfighter 6, rest older than that), in 4K at 160 FPS. - Able to fit the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER Twin Edge OC - Accomodates 10 TB of m.2 SSD (4+4+1+1) in it. - 92nd percentile overall Passmark benchmark. - The Beast's footprint is so small on my desk as you can see in the picture. More processing power per cubic centimeter than any other desktop machine I know.

Cons: None

Overall Review: If you know how to get your hands dirty and assemble your own PC, this is a hard deal to beat. Full parts list that I used to put it together can be found here: https://valid.x86.fr/m8mz8z

Overall Review: Arrived packaged well and can be up and running in five minutes. I used my own hdmi cable, one that supports 4k at 60 Hz. I also took advantage of the VESA mount to mount a Gigabyte brix mini PC to it. The whole setup leaves a lot of free desk space, as you can see in the pictures. Happy with it!
