Pros: Where to begin: QUIET - Very impressed with how quiet this card stays even under 100% load. Much quieter than my previous Radeon 6950. FAST - Experienced large frame rate gains in games such as Counter-Strike:GO, Dota 2, Farcry 3 Blood Dragon. In CS:GO for example, I went from 120 FPS on medium settings to 160 FPS on almost all ultra settings. ONE BUTTON OVERCLOCK - With one button the boards BIOS is switched from the stock 7950 850mhz speed to the boost edition speeds at 950mhz. Easiest overclock ever. Decent range of ports. 1 DVI dual link, 1 DVI single link, 1 HDMI, and 1 display port. 4 free games(as of May 2013): Bioshock Infinite(Steam), Tomb Raider(Steam), Crysis 3(Origin), and Farcry 3 Blood Dragon(Uplay). I would have much preferred DRM free .exe of these games or at least all of them on one platform(steam), but they were FREE, hard to complain.
Cons: HUGE - Read the dimensions carefully and make no mistake, this sucker is long and large. It barely fit on the bottom PCI-E slot of my MoBo in my Cooler Master CM690 II Case. Requires 2 8-Pin connectors, not 1 8-pin and 1 6-pin. Not sure why the 'Details' tab here on Newegg is still inaccurate about that. There seems to be a lot of confusion in this area.
Overall Review: Overall this is a great card for your money. Even stuck on an older CPU like mine(Phenom X6 1100T) at stock speeds I saw very considerable gains in most app's performance.
Nice Form Factor
Pros: Beautiful form factor. Even smaller than you think its going to be. Fits very nicely and appears unobtrusive on your key-chain. A no cap design. Great price for 8 GB.
Cons: I too have been having trouble having it fin in all USB ports. Seems to be hit or miss whether or not it will fit. We are talking standard Dell run-of-the-mill desktops too, not some fancy MacBook Air's.
Overall Review: Would be a 5 egger' were it not for the fact that I can't be sure it will fit everywhere I need it too.
Excellent 4K HTPC Motherboard Choice
Pros: -mATX form factor fits higher-end HTPC style cases like those from Silverstone (I chose the SILVERSTONE Grandia Series GD05B-USB3.0)-Chipset supports 11th gen Intel processors with newer and better integrated 730 UHD graphics which enables HDMI 2.0 4K@60hz (this is important because official 4K UHD Blu-ray disc playback ONLY works with the TV/monitor connected directly to Intel graphics via the board, no add-on Nvidia/AMD cards, I chose the i5 11400)-Intel gigabit LAN for wired network -Modern USB 3.2 gen2 ports (2 in rear)
Cons: -No Wi-Fi module on board. An additional M.2 key E would need to be added for Wi-Fi functionality-Only supports HDMI 2.0 with 11th gen core i5 and above (10th gen Intel and even 11th gen Intel core i3 and below will not enable HDMI 2.0 on this board)-Only one HDMI port onboard (not a problem for a typical HTPC > TV setup, but a concern for any other desktop multi-monitor setup)
Overall Review: This review for ASRock review rebate program. This review was done in the context of choosing this board for a 4K HTPC > Single 4K TV setup that could support official 4K UHD Blu-ray disc playback. The primary reason for choosing this board was the fact that it was an affordable mATX form factor option that supported 11th gen Intel and thus HDMI 2.0 4K@60hz.
Quiet And Powerful
Pros: Quiet and powerful fan so long as it is NOT A TOP FAN. First install was pretty much a fail due to the high noise output when using this fan as a top fan in my mid tower case. I swapped my front intake fan with the Cougar and then the noise all but disappeared.
Cons: As stated above, this is probably not a good choice as a TOP FAN. It no longer becomes a silent fan when in a top to bottom installation.
Overall Review: When not used as a top fan, this is the most quiet, powerful, and good looking fan I have ever used in one of my builds.
A Gamers Review
Pros: MAIN PRO ABOVE ALL OTHER PROS... 120 HZ!!!! Ok so I heavily researched this monitor before purchasing and I can honestly say that as one who bought this monitor specifically for PC gaming it does not disappoint. The 120 Hz delivered by this monitor works WONDERS on older yet still popular games that are being played at above 60 FPS such as Counter-Stirke(1.6 and source), Starcraft 2, Team Fortress 2, Quake Live, DOTA, etc... The difference is very notable for anyone who spends time playing games like these on more standard 60 Hz monitors. Incredible array of options for customization and tuning. The options available to you make it a very customizable experience for those willing to spend the time. Most sturdy, well-built, and moveable monitor stand I have ever encountered.
Cons: Not so great clarity in overall picture quality. Not bad either, but I have seen better in others. Requires a bit of research and fine tuning to draw out the performance the display has to offer. It does not come very well tuned out of the box. Less than stellar viewing angles. Do no expect more than one person looking head on at it to view it with the best clarity and brightness. Only one DVI, one VGA, and one HDMI port. There could be/should be more for a display priced such as this.
Overall Review: Like I said, for its intended purpose of ONE PERSON PC GAMING it does an excellent, excellent job. The 120 Hz is unmatched in bringing ultimate clarity and lack of "ghosting" into the games you love. The customization options ensure that you should be able to get it just where you want it in terms of color, pitch, use etc.... For any serious PC gamer I can say it is a must buy.
