Good!
Pros: Cheap, gets the job done, and I didn't have to pay 80 dollars for a 3ft. cable!
Cons: Nothing!
Overall Review: Guy at my local electronic store had trouble explaining the difference between their geek squad HDMI cable for 80 dollars and this Nippon Labs 6ft. cable for.. what was that? $9.98?!
Bollocks!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Its powerful. Newegg and their shipping speed.
Cons: Where to begin? 1. Drivers SUCK 2. My computer randomly restarts. Yes, my PSU is fine (tested with multimeter), my RAM is fine, and my temps are fine. System idles at about 17 C. Core idles at about 29 C. Decided to put my old 4850 in to see if that causes my computer to restart. Does it? NO! My Ultra X3 1000W PSU is more than enough to handle the 5870, but unfortunately I can't enjoy my card because whenever I game, MY COMPUTER RESTARTS!! Either the drivers are causing it, or the card itself is defective. I have no clue, but I got in touch with XFX and I should expect an answer to my issue tomorrow. If its the card, I'll RMA. I do NOT overclock or over volt anything, everything is default. My fan speed for the card sits at 50% most of the time.
Overall Review: It really ticks me off that ATI releases a product that is so buggy. If this problem of mine isn't fixed by the next ATI drivers set to come out this week, I will be one EXTREMELY frustrated person. This card and all its problems are causing me so much anger in ATI; once a loyal fan, now I'm rethinking what my next card will be. Hey ATI, if you're going to bring out a product and charge so much for it ($400.00 I paid), MAKE SURE IT WORKS PROPERLY!!
XFX!!
Pros: Well, I didn't buy this card. I had to RMA my 5870 a couple weeks ago and to my surprise, XFX sent this card to me (brand new) as my replacement! For starters, I immediately noticed how quiet this 6950 is compared to my previous 5870. Not only is the card quiet, but the temps are great! Looks pretty sexy, too!
Cons: Nothing so far...
Overall Review: Very pleased with XFX!
WOOWW
Pros: Got this baby quick in the mail, thank you newegg! But where to start? This baby flies! I notice a difference from my Phenom 9850. Works like a charm, and it hasn't been overclocked yet!! Running this baby with: MSI K9A2 Platinum 790FX (AM2+) Phenom II 955 X4 8GB Corsair XMS2 Extreme DDR2-800 2 x Radeon 4850 in crossfire 1TB WD Black HDD 500GB Seagate HDD
Cons: None!
Overall Review: It also runs cooler than my 9850!
