Better then others described

NZXT Digital Artic-Camo (Water Transfer Printing) TEMPEST EVO Mid Tower w. 2 x 120mm Front LED Fans, 2 x 140mm Top Fans, 1 x 120mm Side LED Fan & 1 x 120mm Rear Fan
NZXT Digital Artic-Camo (Water Transfer Printing) TEMPEST EVO Mid Tower w. 2 x 120mm Front LED Fans, 2 x 140mm Top Fans, 1 x 120mm Side LED Fan & 1 x 120mm Rear Fan

Pros: -Very good looking -Comes with a full set of fans that aren't garbage -Well designed internals (love that it is painted black) -USB, led, hdd, etc. wires in the front of the case feel good quality. -Front foam doesn't feel as cheap and sharp as the other described. I also hate dust in my case!

Cons: - The rubber grommets around the cable holes come out real easy but isn't really an issue after initial installation - The power switch on top does feel a little cheap but I'm not as concerned as the others. -I found small chips in the paint near the back and overspray on top. Nothing too noticeable but I'm running out of cons -Fans aren't silent in the least, but are mildly standable. -heavy (or is that a positive?)

Overall Review: This is really a large case, not a mid. (according to the dimensions on wikipedia at least) I did understand from the other reviews that it was a big case. My last case really didn't leave me with much to compare to. It was a really really cheap case, so anything would have been an improvement. I originally hated the bulge on the side of the case, then realized that is where cables run - then wished it was bigger. It fits my computer much better than my old 50$ case did and looks much better!

Never expect to actually get the rebate

ENCORE ENUWI-G2 Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates
ENCORE ENUWI-G2 Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Up to 54Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: The device itself works fairly well in a pinch when I don't have a faster one available. Worked right out of the box with Mint 15 too.

Cons: The speed leaves something to be desired for regular use. I've yet to actually perform speed tests with the device and others on my network as a comparison, just seems slower than some of the other 54Mbps dongles I have.

Overall Review: What really burns me up though is getting the letter back for the rebate saying the UPC was invalid. The box is destroyed and has no other UPCs on it. Even if there were another UPC on it, there is no time left before the deadline for a resubmission.

Better after firmware update

Seagate ST500LM000 500GB 5400 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 2.5" Laptop Thin SSHD Bare Drive
Seagate ST500LM000 500GB 5400 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 2.5" Laptop Thin SSHD Bare Drive

Pros: 500 Gigs is a bit more than my previous drive and I'm all the more happy for it. The drive is definitely faster than the Toshiba that came with my laptop as well. For the speed and size, the price seems to fall somewhere between an SSD and a regular hard drive quite nicely. The drive is also extraordinarily quiet for still having spinning platters.

Cons: Upon initial install the laptop seemed to just constantly run hotter than it used to. After a firmware update though it seems to be running a whole lot cooler. I wish I could give it five eggs, but I don't think the product should have shipped with such a flaw that would degrade it over time so badly.

Overall Review: The only thing I can assume is that the new firmware has slowed down the process of putting hard drive saved information into the cache. Whatever the case it seems a lot happier and I bet will last a lot longer now. Totally a five egg drive if it weren't for the initial firmware.

Works well

ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G USB 3.0 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Runs wonderfully Good deal with usb 3.0 and 6gb sata

Cons: Haven't been able to find any

Overall Review: I haven't done any system tweaking, so I cannot say anything to that. Everything still on auto and running wonderfully.

Better then Alcohol

Arctic Silver Arcticlean Thermal material Remover & Surface Purifier ACN-60ML (2-PC-SET)
Arctic Silver Arcticlean Thermal material Remover & Surface Purifier ACN-60ML (2-PC-SET)

Pros: -Cleans the cpu easily -Comes with a lot, you'll only need a few drops -Seems to work better than just alcohol but I haven't exactly tried a 'pepsi challenge' of thermal cleaning

Cons: None really, its had to complain about a cleaning solution that cleans well.

Linux-friendly Work-horse

Samsung ML Series ML-2525W Workgroup Up to 24 ppm Monochrome Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB / Wi-Fi Laser Printer
Samsung ML Series ML-2525W Workgroup Up to 24 ppm Monochrome Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB / Wi-Fi Laser Printer

Pros: -Warm up time is quick -Wireless has worked flawlessly (WPA2 encryption) -Works great with Ubuntu 10.04 -Haven't had any problems and don't predict any arising

Cons: -I always hate software installed with printers (bloat-ware). -Software/drivers for Linux lag behind windows/mac versions -Comes with a low capacity cartage (oh well)

Overall Review: I will admit that the software this installed on my windows machines is not as intrusive or bulky as most, but would prefer the option to install it. And on the flip side I normally use Ubuntu with the printer and don't get the 'bloat-ware' at all. In comparison to all the other HP inkjet printers, this is likely the best printer I have ever owned. (for black and white that is)
