SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 390 8GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card 100382NTOC-2L
SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 390 8GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card 100382NTOC-2L

Pros: Quiet Fast

Cons: Very long!

Overall Review: Was on the fence between the 970 and the 390 and I was all set on the 970 as I wanted something quiet and cool. Came across this card and decided to take a chance. Thing runs great and is only slightly audible during gameplay. Suits my need fine. Only knock is that this card is really long. Make sure your case can at least 12.1". Otherwise it's a really tight fit.

Unreliable

Pros: Great Features Good Coverage Plenty of ports

Cons: Frequent disconnects Poor interface Unreliable

Overall Review: I purchased this due to the spec sheet. I'd read about some of the issues and figured it would get ironed out with firmware. These have never been rock solid for me. I previously I have used Google and Eero mesh routers and did not have the frequent disconnect issues that I do with Asus. Really need to work on streamlining the upgrade firmware process because doing each router manually is a PITA. Not to mention I've had to factory reset them twice after the update. Rating 2 stars because you should never have to wonder if it's your ISP or your router that is acting up. That being said, when it works, it works great. Excellent range and speeds between the routers which is why I made the jump in the first place.

Bad assembly

Pros: Cools as expected

Cons: Very poor installation. I wish I would have just gone with other brands.

Overall Review: I spent more time fiddling with the backplate in an Intel system than I did assembling the entire PC. The holes don't align well. I have installed all manner of coolers and did not have nearly the trouble with other motherboards. Otherwise it cools well.

Poor quality

Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5 ATX Mid-Tower with Front DarkMirror Panel, 3 Customize Color Trims, Tempered Glass Side Panel, Three 120mm ARGB Lighting Fans
Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5 ATX Mid-Tower with Front DarkMirror Panel, 3 Customize Color Trims, Tempered Glass Side Panel, Three 120mm ARGB Lighting Fans

Pros: It's built to the standard of most cases around now days. Lights were nifty, my son loved them.

Cons: Loud Poor quality.

Overall Review: Disappointed that the lights on the fan died out just after 1 year of use. All of the other LED's in the case light up just fine. Questionably build quality. It's has the features of most cases these days. Separated sections for easy cable routing, plenty of mounting options for fans and other coolers. Spend more to get more, I'd suggest getting something with noise dampening as this thing shields nothing.

Well worth it

Pros: Fast Quiet

Cons: Fat Long

Overall Review: This was my second 390 card. The other I was happy with but I was putting together a second build and couldn't pass up on the price. This is a mammoth of a card in size, not as long as my Sapphire but it will fill up 3 slots. Make sure you have a roomy case. It is long as well. Installed the latest drivers and it's running without a hitch. At full load this thing is quiet. I paired it with an R5 and it's barely even noticeable while playing GTA V. Never owned a Powercolor before and was a bit nervous at the start but I've no issues with this company and would purchase from them in the future. I was nervous as this machine only had 650w but I've had no issue as of yet even with an overclocked processor. People told me I would have tons of issues with AMD but I've yet to see one with the last 3 cards I've purchased.

Works as advertiesed

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9D-8GBXL

Pros: Great price, popped it in a z68 board with no problems. Second set of Gskill Ram I've purchased without a hiccup.

Cons: None!
