Very silent
Pros: Extremely silent at 5 and 7 Volts. However, if you are using a fan controller with voltage control (this happens with the Define R4 Fan controller in my case), the fans will not spin up if you start the computer while they are set to 5 volts. At 7 volts they are very silent. There is a negligible difference in sound between 5V and 7V.
Cons: They don't move a massive amount of air, but the amount of air they move is extremely adequate (at 7V). At 12V they are very very loud, but they move more air, which is expected.
Overall Review: After using these fans I can finally hear my hard drive, and i've come to the conclusion that my hard drive is too loud. Sigh....
Coil whine, leaks oily substance
Pros: It's silent (more silent than my directcu ii 780 ti)
Cons: I bought this card from Memory Express and I'm just here to give a warning. It leaks an oily substance from the fans, which gets progressively over time. Coil whine was awful, too.
good, but very loud buzzing pump
Pros: good card, running two of them in SLI
Cons: i ordered two of these, the first one was silent but the other one has a very loud pump. the pump is so loud that i can even hear it inside my fractal design S silent case despite the sound deadening.. the second one also has coil whine, while the first one doesn't. weird since the second card has 83.7% ASIC.
Overall Review: wish the card had LEDs like other cards do. It's the most expensive, so why not?
Great.. if done properly (and dangerous too)
Pros: This thing keeps your GPU cool. If you do it right, of course. You really gotta tighten that bracket down. Make sure you can not see any gaps or openings between the waterblock and the gpu core. BUT DON'T TIGHTEN IT TOO MUCH OR YOU WILL BEND YOUR PCB. I tightened it down to a good degree and have a tiny, very slight bend. which is not good, but i'm fine with it as long as my temps are good. And they're not so bad - about 48-50 C under FULL load on a gtx 780 6gb. Bear in mind that my ambient temps are real bad (30-35 C) And don't put too much thermal paste, a little pea sized dot is more than enough. Also don't use arctic silver or you'll blow your gpu
Cons: You really gotta do it right. took me a few tries and a few reapplications of thermal goop. Make sure that puppy is nice and tight - but not TOO tight. And this thing is heavy when you pair it with an x40. Turns your GPU into a 3 slot card. with some added gpu sag as a bonus. last but not least. don't plug the pump into your motherboard or you might fry it - just plug it into your power supply with a molex to 3 pin adapter. i actually fried my mobo by using the usb header on the x40. don't use it.
Overall Review: the manual is awful and confusing
Extremely poor customer support
Pros: Keeps things relatively cool. Stopped my MSI GE40 from overheating too much.
Cons: It isn't what you'd call quiet. It's huge and takes up a lot of space on the desk. The USB hubs DON'T WORK! I emailed them about a driver but i got no reply at all! (it has been over six months!) Don't even think about buying this product. If you need cooling for your laptop, it's probably too dusty to begin with. Clean it out! .. Or, get a desktop PC.
Overall Review: all msi laptops overheat..
Wonderful
Pros: Very good RAM. I'd recommend it for any laptop that holds a maximum of 8GB.
Cons: None. Though, you might experience lag at first, which will go away rather quickly.
