Sweeet H/D

Pros: QUICK. I'm running 2 of these in a 1+0 RAID setup and they are lightning quick. The 16MB cache along with this being a 300MB/S SATA-II drive entails a stable and fast platform
Cons: Make sure to use a SATA-II card. There's a jumper to have the H/D cap at 150MB/S for use on SATA-I controllers... But it doesn't work.
Overall Review: I'd recommend a H/D fan. They do get a little warm otherwise...
Wow my own 'jet engine'

Pros: Interesting take on cooling. I like the 'slot' concept. The unit slides in a custom 5 1/4" slot and with the turn of a knob removable again. That's handy... BUT...
Cons: My word. I tried everything in the book to get this to work 'efficiently'. I do mean everything. This unit is LOUD. It literally sounds like a little hair dryer. If you do the 'fan only' mode is a bit quieter. a BIT. In the end I gained 1 degree farenheit drop on one of my CPU's and 2 degree's on the other.
Overall Review: Although this unit is removable it completely will block off the bay above and below it. So if you have a CD drive above or below it you have to pop the unit out to access those. Overall a bad experience with this thing.
Simple and inexpensive

Pros: Nice option to have while ordering other items from Newegg. Rather than having to order an antenna from Newegg and then running out to one of the big box stores just to get a new wall plate cover it was very convenient to be able to get it all at the same time and have it arrive on my door step. Otherwise it's a wall plate for a simple and clean coax cable install. Inexpensive, durable, and assembled.
Cons: None.
Just what I was looking for!

Pros: Well it works like a champ! After moving into a new place where I couldn't get a clear line of sight for a satellite and not wanting to ever go back to cable, I opted to go the Roku route. The only snag was the whole local channel thing. I installed this in my attic and it picked up all the local HD channels and I haven't had a single issue with it. Coupled with a Harmony remote, switching between say SlingTV and the antenna is fast and you almost forget that this isn't part of a cable package.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Love Roku

Pros: Easy to use interface, great app support, compact. I've been using a Roku 2 for my dumb TV for almost a year now and have been loving it. We couldn't use satellite at our new house and refuse to go back to cable. For about $60 a month including DSL, SlingTV and NetFlix it's completely made up for not having satellite anymore. Also with a Harmony remote, switching between apps and over the air TV stations is a breeze and fast. For this one, we have one older TV in the basement so HDMI isn't an option so we went with the Roku 1. Unlike cable or satellite, you don't need to pay a monthly fee for multiple boxes so I can watch Netflix upstairs while the wife watches SlingTV or whatever downstairs.
Cons: The remote controls are terrible. You have to set the Roku just right and even then it's wonky. Since it's an RF remote instead of IR, universal remotes don't work. The Harmony 650 remote handles this though AND the smart phone app works a ton better than the included remote! Every once in a while the Roku will freak out and reset itself, but that happens maybe once every 3 months?
Overall Review: My only note, without pictures of the interface on the Roku and strictly going by Roku.com's comparison between the units, it leads one to believe it doesn't have wireless access. The Roku 1 is literally the only unit that doesn't have a tick on the "802.11 b/g/n dual-band wireless". So I assumed that meant you need to run a CAT5 cable to it. I picked up a wireless A/P so I could connect it (and it also acts as a repeater sort of so it helps increase my wireless signal throughout the house). Well sure enough it operates just fine on the wireless network, there's no Ethernet jack or anything so I don't know why they mention that?
Sweet!

Pros: I needed a quick and easy way to mount 2 SATA II drives to back-up a RAID-5 array that needed to be rebuilt (with more drives). I used 2-500 GB drives in RAID-0 via this enclosure, copied the data over, and done. Now I switched it over to RAID-1 and have redundant storage. Pretty sweet way to use old HDD's.
Cons: None! Great deal and a nice setup.
Overall Review: The case works great and the fans do the ticket. It's quiet and even running 2 drives for 24 hours straight didn't find any heat issues.
