ECS Customer Service Problems
Pros: This is not against Newegg. I will always buy from Newegg their product selection, shipping, and customer service is stellar. However ECS Elitegroup is a whole other matter.......
Cons: The replacement video card was received on: August 22nd., 2012 Countless emails, phone calls, lots of stress, and assurances from ECS Elitegroup. Wednesday 08.22.2012 Fed-Ex delivers the package, I open it and inside is what appears to be a new box. However inside the box I find: 1.) No Documentation 2.) No Driver DVD 3.) The Video Card is packed only in the red bubble wrap. No Protective anti-static sleeve. 4.) I look on the back of the replacement video card and see the sticker that identifies it as a re-furbished product. I will give you some background on all of this. I am on a fixed income. I work part-time (18 hrs.) a week @ minimum wage. It took me a long time to save up the money to purchase the original video card. I purchased this video card because I was awarded a scholarship through Florida Institute of Technology for certification in Autodesk 3ds Max. The cost of the course was: $1745.oo I now have missed so much of the course that I probably can't
Overall Review: I paid $70.98 for the original (defective) video card. It then cost me $12.20 to ship the "defective" card back to ECS Elitegroup I can't get a refund for the course. I can't receive another scholarship. I can't use the software, or take the classes online, or attend the online seminars without a video card. This is an opportunity that I am going to lose because I bought a video card from ECS Elitegroup and because ECS Elitegroup wouldn't do the correct thing and just send me a "new" replacement for the defective video card that I had purchased. And now the only response I get when I send in a new ticket to technical support at ECS Elitegroup is someone there asking me to send them pictures. It has already been (as of today) 36 (thirty-six) days and counting. Maybe by reading this is will at least make other think before they purchase any products from ECS Elitegroup. Go to Facebook - ECS ELITEGROUP (USA) Read my posts - Read the responses from ECS Then you'll se

Pros: They look good... Pretty cool storage case... Everything else is a Con...
Cons: I bought a pair of these from Newegg. I luckily got them on sale for $14.99 because they are just horrible. I am a musician, I write/record/produce original compositions. I bought these because they got decent reviews but I am really sorry I did. The old adage: "You get what you pay for" is definitely true. The sound quality is sub par. Bass response is poor at best. Volume that you can listen to clearly is very poor as is the reproduction at the high-end of the spectrum. Then we come to the fit and isolation... even with the 5 pairs of eartips is not isolating and definitely not comfortable. If looks counted for anything then they would rate right up there with "real" headphones, but headphones are for sound quality not looks. I did the "burn-in" thinking that would help,,, it didn't. The sound quality is just horrible: tinny high-end, bass lacks any substance, and you can't give any volume to them without immediate distortion.
Overall Review: If I could give them a -Minus in the star department I would. I would definitely not recommend these headphones to anyone expecting quality.
Didn't ship
Pros: NONE
Cons: Item was supposed to be delivered by 08/09/2017. Label was created on 08/07/2017 but item was never shipped. I am not waiting another 3-5 business days for this item. This is now the third order in a row that Newegg has messed up. And then Newegg just ships the item without any kind of apology or anything. You might as well just stop this in its tracks, I have already ordered a new one from Tom's Hardware. They don't lie or try to cheat you.
Overall Review: Never again will I use Newegg.
Good mid-level vid card
Pros: Exactly as stated. Runs warm but well within the params. Quiet, good fps - around 170+ for Warface .... set on medium settings. Decent bang for the buck.
Cons: Haven't found any yet.
Overall Review: Would recommend this vid card if you are on a budget.
Awesome..... and not so awesome.
Pros: Inexpensive. Build quality is excellent. Tactile feel is awesome. Everything is as it is supposed to be. This is a refurbished item, but I can't tell that it was ever used.
Cons: No software. Doesn't matter what software I download from the site .... none of it will work. Can't find the device. It is a great keyboard, but without the software I am unable to take advantage of any settings.
Overall Review: Even without the software, I will give this a 4 star rating. Highly recommended. Hopefully they will someday get the software issue figured out?
Good bang for the buck
Pros: Fast and a really good deal for the money. It was a simple install (upgraded from an AMD Phenom II 965BE) so it was just removing the old and inserting in the new. Quite pleased so far.
Cons: Runs a little warm, I use 3ds Max, and Cakewalk Sonar X2, both are a little tough on the chip. I need to get a better fan so that is next.
