1 of 3 failed out of the box
Pros: RGB, controllable by external switch. Low cost
Cons: only 3 single connection Pcie- cords, so just enough to run 1 high end graphics card. 1 inoperable
Overall Review: I bought 3 of these on sale to replace aging 600w PSU in my kids computers. They're packaged well, but Out of the box the first one didn't work, just a quick flash of the LED and bump of the fans and it clicked (protection circuit). Tested it in 2 other machines and tested the other 2 PSU, they worked fine. We'll see how long the other 2 last. The cables that came with them are cheap, but there just aren't enough of them or outputs. my EVGA 600w PSU came with more, higher quality cables and has more outputs than it can handle.
Not a miner
Pros: It supports Ryzen 5 series. It halfway supports RGB It has 3x x16 pcie slots
Cons: Ethernet controller died while updating. Can not get more than 3gpu to work last 2 PCIE slot spacing puts 3060's touching each other.
Overall Review: I bought this motherboard mostly because it included 6 pcie slots but the closest I could get was 4 AMD gpu and a restart would kick me back to 2 The biggest issue was the Ethernet controller (killer) After OS installation I had to connect a CD drive to load the drivers. Once loaded the ethernet controller got 95% through downloading the first OS update then died. I deleted drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled, connected to the internet through a USB dongle, downloaded updated drivers, updated bios...nothing, device manager reports no issue but there's no network. So here I am typing a review on an ASUS motherboard with literally every other component from the ASROC riptide build installed and it works on the same network, same cables, same drives literally same everthing. RGB controller software from asrock worked for the chipset RGB, and for the memory RGB for a while (until it forgot) and needed to be reset but not the CPU cooler RGB, GPU RGB. I hope other ASROCK products are better.
Pros: Hey, its a 3080 Performance outruns my monitor on most games
Cons: it didn't work very long It's big and covers the PCIE slot release levers.
Overall Review: I got this card and was very pleased with it, it's packaging, and it's performance out of the box. then 3 weeks later it began cutting out under load, crashing the computer.
