What is up with these drives?
Western Digital WD Green WD20EARS 2TB 5400 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Hard to describe in words.
Overall Review: 3 out of 6 were DOA, the 4th just died after being in service for two weeks. I am at a loss for words.

Pros: No issues whatsoever. Fast as promised. Was getting a few blue screens before I went to latest firmware.
Cons: None.

Unacceptable reliability

Pros: Inexpensive, lot of space
Cons: My experience is that these drives have terrible reliability. I have had 2 out of 4 fail in a month. One was DOA and the other failed before I had even had a chance to write any data to it! Think twice before buying...
