Half and Half
Pros: The refurbished laptop runs great. It's fast, it's a Windows 7 (which is an upgrade for me), and it has great video prowess and processing. Reliable so far.
Cons: The laptop would generate quite a bit of heat while gaming or using a portion of the CPU. The other thing that I absolutely hate, as a college student, is the weight of the laptop. I don't know exactly how heavy it is, but when I'm carrying the laptop around, it would put a strain on my shoulders. It's really heavy which really doesn't promote mobile use at all. I like to keep it in my dorm since it's so heavy.
Pros: The bootup speed is phenomenal and the biggest upgrade from your standard old hard drive. I highly recommend the upgrade if you're on the fence about it; it should be a no-brainer! With prices going down, pick up and SSD to boost that startup speed and application bootup speed.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Slows down quite noticeably in a slightly colder room(?).
Hiccups at first, solid afterwards
Pros: I like that it's the size of an old USB storage stick. I didn't want one that had an antenna sticking out of it. Really small, portable size with a cap; literally like a USB stick.
Cons: At first I plugged it in and it connected to the internet. It had me worried for a bit because it would disconnect for no reason and I would have to unplug/plug it back in. It's got a solid connection now, which I figured it would have because the router's literally 6 feet away.
Overall Review: I guess I didn't need the 433Mb+150Mb/s connection speed, but I just wanted to make sure I had enough room to get all that I can from a connection without a cap.
Customization is always awesome
Pros: The customization capabilities that come with this mouse is phenomenal. Switching over from a recently used mouse was a very easy transition as opposed to switching from a different, constant weight and feel of a mouse to a new mouse with a constant weight and feel. Fantastic. The right and left click of this mouse is also great. It performs well, no defects with my mouse. Great design.
Cons: The only problem I have with the mouse is the glaring blue light it emits from the G. I get that it's part of the design and such, but blue light in a dark room is extremely bright. I'm not saying I'm playing video games in a dark room all the time, but if I wanted to leave my computer on overnight for example, this is just brutal. But this is my issue and not anything that affects the performance of this product. Purely aesthetic.
Pros: The feel for this keyboard is fantastic. The keyboard pressure is always fun to type with, especially long essays. I never get bored of pressing the keys. 3 different light options for the keyboard which vary throughout the day as the sun gets brighter and brighter. I like having the option to change that. This is also my first keyboard to have Macros but I haven't used them much. The concept of macro keys seem really convenient!
Cons: When I turn off the computer and don't turn the keyboard's light to medium/low, it'll just shine at max even after I've turned off my computer. I can't lower the brightness after I've turned off my PC either so I usually have to turn it on, change brightness, then turn it off again.
Overall Review: Great keyboard for typing up essays and for gaming! I absolutely love the color because it matches with my red PC.
