Great pump

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System
Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump Liquid Cooling System

Pros: Very quiet. I wanted watercooling because I'm fanatical about cutting out noise. This pump is has been going strong for over a year now. Use it to watercool Athlon X2 OC'd to 2.8 and 2 8800GTS video cards. It does make a noticable hum when you turn it up to max level. However, I use 1/2" hoses, so it runs at level 2 all the time. The only time you would need to turn it higher is when you prime your water circuit for the first time. Even with 4 120mm case fans, my box is barely audible. I have to look at the power LED to verify that my comp is on. My laptop is more noisy! Once you experience watercooling, you'll never go back to air.

Cons: Not cheap. I also recommend using metal ring clamps to ensure the hoses are attached as tightly as possible on the openings. The plastic C clamps that came with the pump did not give me much confidence. You can get the ring clamps at Home Depot.

Overall Review: I managed to fit the entire watercooling setup with resevoir, pump, radiator, CPU waterblock, and 2 GPU waterblocks inside an Antec 300 case, which is also sold on Newegg. Fantastic case if you're in the market for one.

Okay software

Intuit QuickBooks Pro 2009
Intuit QuickBooks Pro 2009

Pros: Works fine.

Cons: This product is good for basic accounting. I strongly recommend, however, that you NEVER sign up to any of Intuit's online services (credit card processing, emailing invoices, and payroll). As mentioned below by other posters, Intuit has the ability to disable these features on YOUR system in order to force you to upgrade. You will use these features for months or years, and all of a sudden they will no longer work (unless of course you purchase a new version and pay them crazy subscription fees). Also, never give Intuit your back account number because they will literally extract funds from your account without your authorization. They will keep on doing so until you block them.

Overall Review: Caveat emptor!I used to think Intuit was a reputable company until I ran into the above problems. Now I know they are a crooked company with shady business practices. They make MS look good! If you don't believe me, do a google search and there are literally hundreds of small business owners who have been scammed by Intuit. I will never use another Intuti product becasue I refuse to support unethical companies.

Excellent Monitor

27" QNIX QX2710 2560x1440 QHD PLS Matte Panel Monitor
27" QNIX QX2710 2560x1440 QHD PLS Matte Panel Monitor

Pros: I want to thank everyone who took a chance and purchased this monitor, and took the time to review it. Otherwise, I would have missed out this amazing gem. All the good things others have described are 100% true. All the negatives are true as well. Go ahead and make the purchase because you won't regret it one bit. Every time I turn my computer one now, I can't help but say, "whoa!"

Cons: nothing to gripe about

Overall Review: Don't hesitate to get this if you're in the market for a 27"

Works good

LITE-ON Black 4X BD-ROM 8X DVD-ROM 32X CD-ROM SATA Internal 4X Blu-ray Reader Model iHOS104-06
LITE-ON Black 4X BD-ROM 8X DVD-ROM 32X CD-ROM SATA Internal 4X Blu-ray Reader Model iHOS104-06

Pros: Inexpensive. Quiet.

Cons: Slow DVD read speed. Only gave 4 eggs because I don't give perfect scores for any product.

Overall Review: Working good for me so far. Came with PowerDVD trial version but never used it. Instead, I got Arcsoft TMT3 for bluray playback. Works perfectly in Vista media center. For those who are having trouble playing bluray, make sure that you have (1) the required software; and (2) the required HDCP compliant monitor. Keep in mind that not all HDMI monitors are HDCP compliant. Otherwise, bluray with not play in Hi def, but in standard DVD def. It seems like many of the people below are having these problems but are blaming it on the drive. The drive does what it's supposed to do if you know how to set it up properly.

HTPC dream

ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: SPDF sound port. Quiet. Small. Onboard video. Has eSata and 5 sata ports.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Got this for a HTPC build. Has a SPDF port to plug into my receiver for pass-through DTS or Dolby 5.1 sound (don't have a HD receiver). Most mATX boards don't have this port. Has been working good so far. The onboard video is great for bluray playback (only 10% CPU), and is HDCP compliant. Easily drives my 1080p HDTV. This board can max out storage at 12T (if you only have 2T drives). Board is perfect for my needs.

Cheap but Useful

Pros: Inexpensive.

Cons: Had to download drivers for Vista 64-bit. Software hard to figure out.

Overall Review: This card was inexpensive and easy to install. I didn't want/or need any fancy features, just access to my wireless home network. I always have 80% signal strength even through several walls. The software was a bit strange in that the security settings for my network did not "take" until several tries. But once it started working, it has been fine since. I'm not sure what I did to get it to work, but it's been running like a champ since. No dropped signals. Download speed is great. I had to download the Vista 64 bit drivers because they did not come with the CD, but it was not hard to find on Rosewill's website. I'm not sure what the complaining below about hard to find drivers was all about. Also, I only have 2 gigs of ram in my system, so I can't confirm/deny the difficulties others are having in Vista 64 with systems with more than 4 gigs of ram. Good, useful product for the price.
