solid board
Pros: well constructed
Cons: MB manual thinner
Overall Review: used this with i7 -9700k, samsung 970 evo plus 500gb and ripjaws memory sticks. everything went together easily. Cabling in my old NZXT case was tight. Position of SATA connectors on the mb between power connector and usb3 made for a tight pile of cables. but it is a micro ATX form factor. mounting the m.2 drive was easy. Booted into uefi without problems and loaded win10 from USB installation media. No drama. biggest headache was configuring Outlook for multiple email accounts. Not sure why I still use that program. overall easy build for a fast system.
not for me
Pros: looks nice
Cons: RMA after no connect to network. Comes with disc and utility to automatically set up connection. But setup utility wouldn't accept # of characters in my password. Tried manual setup, didn't work. worked with tech support who walked me thru everything I already did and still didn't connect. I chose this unit thinking it should be compatible with my Linksys router. no such luck.
drive fine, nero not so much
Pros: drive is fine, easy to install (aren't they all?) good price
Cons: Nero lightscribe software didn't install properly, had to use lightscribe's registry hack utility to get the drive recognized as a lightscribe drive. nero's software to design disc labels very clunky and not intuitive. would give the drive more eggs if it came with different software.
