Works on 20" iMac with 2.4GHz C2D MA877LL
Pros: I bought this RAM because of other positive reviews on the Intel iMacs. I can say that this RAM works on 20" iMac with 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo. I fired up iPhoto, iTunes, Camino, Safari, Mail, iCal, VmWare Fusion with two VMs and handly sucked up all my memory (at least top said so). I'm betting the OS was doing some interesting caceing of data since an "ls -lh /var/vm" produced only one virtual memory swap file instead of the 5 (totaling 1GB) that I am used to seeing.
Cons: the only con is that I had to type something here.
Overall Review: Installing RAM into the new black bordered iMacs was both fun and annoying. I didn't follow apple's instructions that said to lay the machine down flat. Instead I tilted as far as possible. Unscrewing the metal cover at the base was annoying because it was not apparent that I had unseated it until I started poking at the sides of the cover (the screw skipping tipped me off). Getting the RAM out was a simple as pulling firmly on the plastic tabs. Putting the new RAM in was a pain since the chips slide in easily, but you can't see anything. I had to apply pressure to get them seated properly. The only way I knew that I had seated them was the normal snap-in feeling of seated RAM. Now that I know what's going on, I must say I am pleased with the mechanism.
