Always Lite-On
Pros: Great product. Lite-on never fails me. No coasters.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I use Lite-on for all of my builds. Highly recommend it!!
Watch out for....
Pros: Capable of ddr or ddr2 and of course its ABIT.
Cons: Apparently this board due to the northbridge only works at x4 for the pci-e. I was having a bad lag in F.E.A.R. and Rainbow Six Vegas so I posted to a well known forum and it seems the chipset, even though stated at x16, only runs at x4.
Overall Review: For those thinking it was probably my system here are my specs which are well within the recommended for those games: Pentium d 945 3.4 2gb ocz s.o.e ddr2 667 HIS x1650 pro 512mb Something else to keep in mind is this board only supports ddr2 at 533. I bought this because I was orginally going to use my old ram then changed my mind. I am rma'ing this board for the GIGABYTE GA-8N-SLI.
Not with this mount....
Pros: From what I have read this is probably the second best air cooler on the market. It's very quiet and does a fantastic job. All reviews rate it excellent.
Cons: The mounts for this heatsink are probably the worst I have ever seen. The instructions show that you should finger tighten the mount as it does not come with a wrench to tighten it anymore and they are extremely tiny nuts. If you finger tighten it, unless you are superman the heatsink is still loose. After dealing with this thing for over 2 hours I finally took it back to the local store I bought it from.
Overall Review: I modified my stock cooler that came in my retail box for the Pentium D processor I bought. I had an extra fan laying around from the old Athlon processor I use many moons ago. It's either a 40 or 50 mm fan that pushes a ton of air. I can't remember exactly how much though. After removing the old fan and installing the new one to this heatsink my temps dropped from an average of 120f to 73f. That's almost a 50 degree drop!!!!
The best
Pros: 2000 dpi laser with a quick change button. adjustable weight.
Cons: I didn't buy it sooner!
Overall Review: This is by far the best mouse I have owned. Some people recommend the those other guys' gaming mouse but this one has a better feel to it in my opinion. Also has upgradable firmware.
Not bad but....
Pros: Nice looking, fan looks cool.
Cons: Fan vibrates the thin metal of the case and cause a pretty constant humming noise.
Overall Review: The case is very thin metal but overall is not a bad product for those on a tight budget. The fan is not very fast and to be honest I couldn't tell it was moving enough air to make a difference. Came with no other fans installed, so if you get it, make sure you have something for exhaust. Because of the vibration of the fan I would recommend a different case.
