Very nice

HIS IceQ X Radeon HD 6950 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card H695QN1G2M
HIS IceQ X Radeon HD 6950 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card H695QN1G2M

Pros: Gets to about ~58-60 celcius full load while I'm running the fan at 65%. BF3 plays nicely at high settings 1920 x 1080 resolution as long as you don't mind some dips into low 40's fps, medium will reach low 50's, I personally run it mostly everything low, with shadows on medium, mesh on medium, low AA post and it runs it a rock solid 60 fps (with 60hz refresh rate and vsync on). Didn't have any issues installing the card as well.

Cons: It seemed to have some issues with Portal 2, I think it might have to do with how a AMD card handles physics? Basically my old Nvidia card (gtx 550 ti) a much less powerful card handled the game no problem. Most of the time this Radeon card runs it fine, like 25% load but at some areas where there is like a bouncing cube on the screen, the card will suddenly full load and my fps would drop to like 10-15 fps, very odd. I haven't observed this with any other games yet.

Overall Review: Pretty happy. I bought it because it met the recommended spec for BF3. I'm not really anticipating a game I must play until Battlefield 4 anyway. Specs: core i5-2400 @ 3.1 ghz 8gb ddr3 1333 Radeon HD 6950 1gb

Cheap

Corsair HS1 USB Connector Circumaural Headset
Corsair HS1 USB Connector Circumaural Headset

Pros: They are a tight fit at first but once you break them they are very comfortable. Decent sound. Long cord. Foldable.

Cons: Volume control buttons began to break in less than a month, I have to constantly readjust them because if they aren't positioned correctly they wont work. Mic outputs a small static noise no matter how I adjust voice sensitivity. After a couple months the left headphone sometimes produces an annoying faint crackling/vibrating noise while playing music.

Overall Review: By default the bass is pathetic on this thing, I'd recommend boosting it through sound settings or Corsair software and it sounds fine. Overall disappointing since it is a very comfortable fitting headset, the other features seem cheap in comparison.

Cool

ABS Challenger Gaming PC - Ryzen 5 3600 - GeForce GTX 1650 Super - 8GB DDR4 - 512GB SSD

Pros: Awesome Prebuild Very lightweight/small (smaller than you would think) Front LED has color changing button

Cons: none, however you may want to look at the same prebuild with the gtx1660 as it is the same price as of today.

Overall Review: Satisfied with this purchase

EVGA GeForce GTX 970 04G-P4-2974-KR 4GB SC GAMING w/ACX 2.0, Silent Cooling Graphics Card

Pros: Fairly quiet, not very high power draw to compared alot of cards I am using a 500w Silverstone Strider series PSU to power 1 on my PC. I am playing Assassin's Creed: Black Flag at the moment maxed out at 1080p, it plays fantastically and the game looks great.

Cons: None

Overall Review: I upgraded to this from a Radeon HD 6950. For GTAV and MGSV upcoming mostly. Feels good to be back on team GeForce.

Acer Laptop Aspire Intel Core i5-4210U 8GB DDR3L Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 840M 15.6" Windows 8.1 V3-572G-54S6
Acer Laptop Aspire Intel Core i5-4210U 8GB DDR3L Memory 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce 840M 15.6" Windows 8.1 V3-572G-54S6

Pros: Acer seems to have struck a golden balance between portability, performance and price with this laptop. Give or take, I haven't owned a laptop for personal use since 2010, when my toaster of a machine (known as the Dell M1530) finally died after a miserable 2 year run consisting of several part replacements and overheating issues. This modest offering from Acer is luckily nothing like that. This notebook is a very "no thrills" budget machine that offers just about everything you would expect in a modern laptop. Probably the most impressive feature of this light, stylish laptop is it's dedicated graphics card, the Nvidia GT840M. I just played a game of Dota 2 and it runs fantastically. I have it set to roughly "medium" settings 1366 x 768. Laptop got a little warm where the onboard card is probably seated but not hot by any means.

Cons: -No CD/DVD drive -Screen is not great viewed at an angle -Acer bloatware

Overall Review: Grade A for Acer
