The best gaming experience I've ever had!

Pros: Absolutely blazes though ANYTHING I throw at it. Even Crysis at 1920x1200 4xAA and very high settings nets me 30-40FPS playable, not to mention the benchmarks of 40-50! This is truly the best video card I've ever owned and i started gaming when voodoo 2's in SLI were the way to go. Very worth the cost if your serious about your gaming and your wallet. Besides gaming, this card stays COOL and QUIET. Fan speed always stays under 30% at default, max load is in the low 70ºc, and it idles at 38-40ºc. This card only uses 27w at idle so its amazing the temps you can see. Two thumbs up to ATI/AMD on these cards. I've been an Nvidia user since the Geforce 2 days, and this card deserves all the praise I can give it!
Cons: Not a SINGLE one I can find! The price and availability, but that just goes to show how great the 5000 series are. And that I cant give it 10 stars instead of 5.
Overall Review: OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE coming from an 8800GTS 512 that was overclocked. I just couldnt game at 1900x1200 with my previous card and full details, but now on a 28" monitor, this card just screams to life with all the details you can imagine. I also renewed my faith in XFX. I previously purchased a 4890 here made by them, and it performed horribly. Turns out there were a lot of people with the same issues. I returned the 4890 and picked this up and i'll never look back. I can't even begin to imagine what the 5950 is like with the level of performance im seeing now.... O_o
Outstanding difference in cooling performance! However has a small revision is needed due to new fan design.

Pros: This water cooler dropped my 1080 TI Founder's Edition from 80-90ºC with stock fan settings to 45-60º depending on game/load. Due to this, it has also increased my overclock. I am above to stay well above 2Ghz on the core now. It also seems to keep my room cooler as well due to the better heat dispersion. In addition, it also makes my system whisper quiet now under full load, the stock fan not only struggled to keep it under thermal throttling limits, but made a LOT of noise doing so. I am very pleased with it's performance not only in thermal efficiency but noise reduction!
Cons: As stated in other reviews.. there is a design flaw with the fan where it will rattle against the shroud if raised above a certain percentage (mine was 55-60%). This dissuaded me from wanting to buy this kit until i researched the exact problem. The standoffs that secure the new fan to the PCB are too short and leaves a small gap that will cause the fan to rattle against the new shroud at higher speeds. There is a fix on youtube that involves installing nylon spacers behind the standoffs. It is an easy fix but requires the spacers in addition to this kit (can be found on online or at a hardware store in a kit.). Apart from that, the only other con was the routing of the fan cabling behind the shroud was not very clear in the instructions, but it is simple enough to figure out.
Overall Review: Great product and designed to cool a beast of a GPU that the stock founder's edition fan struggles to do (especially when overclocking.. think stock Intel CPU cooler... good enough for stock but not for performance.) Dropping 30º off an extreme gpu load was a huge selling point for me! It also idles under 30º which is a nice benefit as well. Took about 2 hours start-finish install taking my time. (you will need a 4mm socket and #0 and #00 phillips screwdriver). If you want a quiet and cool PC, definitely pick up this kit! It works wonderfully! I took an egg off due to the fan issue, but would have given it a 5 otherwise.
Absolute Monster 1440p card! Great Overclocker AND it stays cool & silent!

Pros: This card absolutely destroys any game you throw at it. Im currently running it on a 1080p system and i am seeing triple digit frame rates in everything i play on ultra settings! I currently have it overclocked in MSI Afterburner (Maxed power/temp/voltage limits) +120 Core & +500 Memory and the boost clock tops out at 2063Mhz and near as makes no difference to 9Ghz Effective Memory clock (4498Mhz). On my bit dated (but still a top performer) 3570k @ 4.2GHz, My regular Firestrike 3dmark numbers are just a bit over 14,000. Also, this card never goes above 72ºC, even in a warm room at full load for hours!
Cons: What's not to like!? This card is meant for 1440p gaming @ 60fps+ which it can easily do on ultra settings. On a 1080p system, you will see 100+ FPS on ultra settings. That is the only con i can find. Its is grossly overpowered on a 1080p system - which mean it will be excellent future proofing if that is all you game at.
Overall Review: 1060 - 1080p gaming Ultra - 60fps 1070 - 1440p gaming on Ultra - 60fps 1080/TI/TitanX - 4k gaming - Near ultra @ as near as 60fps as your going to get depending on the game. These pascal cards are incredible. Boost Clock 3.0 is amazing and even compared to the old architecture on my 980ti, it is much more efficient (also on a side note - this card is just a touch better in performance than a 980 ti, if not exactly equal in most scenarios) Great Great card, and i'd highly recommend it as the best bang for your buck right now, especially if you do not game at greater than 2k resolutions.
Looks nice, Reinforces card.

Pros: Looks nice, slightly lower temperatures, easy install.
Cons: Just that i had to buy it separately instead of having it included with my card.
Overall Review: Make sure you have a tiny Phillips screwdriver before you try to remove the old screws and install the new ones. They are very small.
Absolutely fluid smoothness!! The best monitor i've ever owned! Gsync is amazing!

Pros: WOW! I am absolutely amazed at the difference refresh rate makes! This monitor is so crisp, you would swear you were looking out a freshly cleaned window! Once calibrated to your liking, everything is crisp. Pictures,text.. Even moving windows around you can notice the smoothness....and oh man, the 'gameplay'!!! Which is where this monitor shines! Especially if you play any kind of first person shooters. Gsync (read up on it) is the premier selling point of this monitor and it WORKS. However the difference is noticeable anytime you move your mouse. When i first started a game and switched from 60hz to 144hz/gsync i actually had a brief moment of vertigo/dizziness due to the way the screen reacted so beautifully to my input. It really is *that* good! Gsync is incredible! If your not aware of what it is, do some research. Your paying a premium for it, and its worth every cent. The fluidity of frames is pristine! The monitor itself has everything you could want. Full range of adjustment, VESA mount, it has ULMB (although with gsync, you will never use it.). The menus are easy enough to navigate although once setup you will never go to them again. The casing of the monitor itself is quite slim and adjustments are easy. Oh.. and my monitor (made in June) arrived with no backlight bleeding (an advantage of TN panels), no dead/stuck pixels and flawless out of the box! As they say on the forums, i won the 'monitor lottery'
Cons: As far as cons... To me, there are none.. but to others.. 1. this is a TN panel. However i am no graphics editing /color aficionado. I came from an LG 1080p IPS monitor and i couldnt tell you the difference between color reproduction. However there is a color shift in extreme viewing angle. But i dont notice it at all. Especially not enough to justify paying $200 more for the same model in IPS form. just my 2 cents. 2. This ia a pro to me, but maybe not to others.. The monitor has only a displayport connection. That means, no video game consoles, no dvd/blueray players, or any other external devices without an adapter.. however this is a 144Hz panel.. you should be using nothing more than a high-end computer on it anyway. That's what its designed for. 3. Running the monitor at 144hz on the desktop is going to cause your graphics card to not downclock to idle speeds. So when you notice your GPU temps higher than normal when in windows, that is the cause. If it really bothers you, you can bump it down to 120Hz easily enough and it clocks back down. And last but not least, the swivel (left and right horizontally) does not pivot with the base, so if you need to make adjustments to the monitor, the whole base turns with it. Again, not really a con, but im just throwing it out there as this is a review and im trying to disclose accurate information for those interested.
Overall Review: The only words i can use to describe it are silky, buttery, smooooth. Add on Gsync on top of that and you will never have a hitch, bump, stutter or tear EVER! I have to admit i would have never imagined going from a 1080p/60Hz panel to a 2k/144Hz panel would make such a difference, but it DOES! The added real estate in windows is amazing as well, you have so much more room to perform tasks as well. To be honest, i was very leery and almost afraid of buying a monitor of this caliber. It is very expensive and not everyone out there will take full advantage of it. There are really only two competing monitors out there of this quality, and the other had major quality control issues that actually scared me away from buying it (although i still prefer it aesthetically and the options/functions it provides.) But did not want to have an RMA issue with it down the road. If you take a look at reviews/forums of both monitors, they are littered with "arrived with dead/stuck pixels, died after 3 months, wouldnt turn on, showing stripes on screen.. etc..etc." But then i realized that most of the times, people only post if they have issues and I wanted to make this post to show that not everything you read (especially on the Internet) should always be used to determine your own mind set. (including this review, if your so inclined to believe/disbelieve) however, this monitor arrived in perfect condition, with no flaws, and perfect color reproduction (to my eyes) despite the sheer disdain most people seem to have TN panels. If you do not do graphics editing, sit in front of your monitor like 90% of the people who use them do, and want to save $200 not going with an IPS panel.. absolutely pick this monitor up if your serious about gaming, or spend any amount of quality time on a computer. Yes, its expensive, YES, its outstanding, and I guarantee you will not regret your purchase, especially if your upgrading from a smaller/lower resolution 60Hz panel! I hope this review helped!
*Outstanding* 1080/1440p card!

Pros: Upgraded from a MSI 670 GTX that was overclocked.. I really debated on this upgrade, but wow was i pleasantly surprised! I went from a 6534 to a 10777 3dmark firestorm performance score. I game at 1080p, and this game obliterates **very-single-game**. Even Crysis 3 is playable at a constant 60fps at max settings and 2x AA. Even 8x MSAA renders 40-45fps.. amazing! Also this card stays amazingly cool, even with the stock fan profile. It doesnt even use the fans until 60c and even then it is whisper quiet!
Cons: Not really a con, but it uses an 8 pin and a 6 pin power connector.. but it also comes with adapters for both in the box. Thankfully i had both already, but it may cause a cabling issue for some people.
Overall Review: If your looking for a 1080p/1440p card.. the 970 is by far the best bang for the buck... I read so many reviews and forum posts saying that upgrading from a 670/770 isnt really worth it.. and it almost scared me away from this card.. but im glad i chose not to heed the advice and did it anyway.. Also a 2GB card is going to date itself very quickly now.. we have a lot of demanding titles coming up and i wanted to be ready for them. If your looking for a card to upgrade too, and you dont need 4k / sli.. this is the one!
