Very easy to install - iMac

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Laptop Memory Model OCZ2M8004GK
OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Laptop Memory Model OCZ2M8004GK

Pros: I upgraded my iMac 24" 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo that came with 2GB of memory with this kit. It was piece of cake to install. All I had to do was unplug the unit, remove one philips screw on the bottom of the iMac, remove the memory cover, pulled the plastic tabs to remove old memory, install the new ones facing the same way the old ones came out, curled the plastic tabs back into the unit and placed the cover back on tightening the screw. It booted up an instantly recognized the 4GB memory. It took all of 5 minutes to install.

Cons: What to do with the old memory?

Overall Review: I run all my software without any problems. Saved a bundle over Mac memory!!!

EXCELLENT MB!

ASUS P7P55D-E Pro LGA 1156 Intel P55 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P7P55D-E Pro LGA 1156 Intel P55 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: I worked with GIGABYTE MB's in the past and now I am a ASUS follower. Pure SATA 6Gb that won't rob bandwidth from GPU. Plenty of external connections USB, Sata, USB-3. No problems with the CPU Cooler and memory height, plenty of space. Found all drivers for the OS automatically (search the web). The TurboV EVO is very easy to manipulate (overclocking). Runs cool.

Cons: Waiting for the progress LED's slows down the boot process, but once passed, it flies. BIOS found the second set of memory but OS (Windows 7 64 bit) reported 8GB Installed, but only 4GB usable. I reseated the second pair and it worked perfectly. I had to tweak the BIOS to get the DDR3 1600 RAM to register 7-8-7-24 properly.

StarTech 2 Port PCI Parallel Adapter Card - EPP/ECP

Pros: It works.

Cons: Have to download the new drivers and install manually.

Overall Review: These are exact steps for get Windows7 64-bit working. Download the latest drivers for the PCI2PECP here: http://www.startech.com/Data/ProductDrivers/PCI2PECP.zip. Extract files Open Device Manager. NOTE: Even if the Multifunction Adapter is listed with no errors it WILL still need to be updated. Do not skip this step as the rest of the steps will NOT work. Click the plus sign next to the Multifunction Adapter heading. Right-click on the device that appears below and choose Update Driver Software. Choose Browse My Computer. Choose the Let Me Pick From a List. Click the Have Disk button (you may have to click Next again to see this button depending on the version of your OS) and browse to the extracted folder, open the Windows Vista folder and choose the file named NmXpMf. The port should automatically correct itself, if not go through the same process for the port but choose the file named NmPorts instead. Perform Windows Update to remove exclamation marks.
