Nifty little hard drive
Pros: Runs cool and quiet with reasonable speed. Small and conveniently portable. A dock is available for desktop use. Instantly recognized by Windows XP and Windows 7.
Cons: A case would be nice but that would probably increase the cost. No complaints, really.
Overall Review: I have 2 of these drives and they both do their job nicely. Case Logic makes a nice small case for about $10.
Good but could be better!
Pros: Very good sound and the volume is adequate, high quality product, provides excellent protection for you player.
Cons: No battery charge indicator, no volume control except your player, inability to operate a player through the transparent plastic screen. (A Plexiglas door might help.)
Overall Review: If your player has a slider switch and/or a wheel to select music, they will be difficult, if not impossible, to operate through the transparent plastic screen. You'll spend a lot of time unzipping and zipping the case. However, it plays very nice sounding music.
Great little sandwich maker
Pros: Sandwiches are easy to prepare, they taste great, and the machine is easy to clean.
Cons: No Timer
Overall Review: I'm a lousy cook, but this little machine makes me feel like a gourmet chef.
Not Bad
Pros: Nice neutral sound. Small and convenient for desktop use. Inexpensive. If played at a reasonable volume, it sounds pretty good.
Cons: Not meant for high volume listening. Wire attaching MP3 player is quite thin.
Overall Review: I bought the iHome speaker and a comparable small Sony speaker and the iHome puts the Sony to shame. The Sony sounds like a 1940's radio. Very tinny with no bass at all. The sound on these small speakers depends greatly on how you have your MP3 player equalized. Don't expect earth shattering volume or thumping bass, but the iHome has a nice neutral sound at low to moderate volume. I use rechargeable batteries and they last quite a long time before recharging. This is a personal listening device.
It makes a fashion statement
Pros: Sleek and attractive, works like a charm on XP and 7, it's as fast as any USB portable drive, small and very portable, 3 year warranty.
Cons: Short USB cord, but that is to ensure a proper power supply to the unit. I have found that none of my several portable USB drives will work on a cord longer than 3 ft.
Overall Review: This is an excellent little drive and the black and white design is very attractive. I haven't owned the drive long enough to attest to its longevity, but it's working great at the present.
Rather delicate
Pros: Swivels out of cap, nice size - small but not too small, decent speed, works well with Windows 7 and XP.
Cons: It seems like such a delicate little drive that you feel like you must "be careful" with it.
Overall Review: Very nice little drive if it holds up.
