Most Favorable Review

Excellent. Just excellent.

EVGA GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 512-P3-N841-A3
EVGA GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 512-P3-N841-A3

Pros: Just the ticket to get my beast back up and running after a coolant spill killed my old G80 8800GTS 640, rest its soul. This card has quite a bit more horsepower - it has sufficient power to run a 1680x1050 primary monitor as well as a 1280x1024 secondary - Crysis runs all high DX9 in the 50s-60s. All other games... what, are you kidding? Max graphics before you even ask. This card really is awesome. I just wish I had 2 of these for SLI and Vista so I could run Crysis at DX10 max with a bigger monitor. That and 8 GB of RAM... plus a Q6950... oh nevermind :D

Cons: The fan sounds like a jet engine if you turn it up to 100%, but you never have to push the fan that hard. In other words, NONE!

Overall Review: Ntune allows you to overclock without a hitch as well as adjust the fan speed. I put my fan speed at 60% to be safe, and then I proceeded to overclock slightly to 700/2000. That yielded a high 12k 3dmark06 score, I believe. HARDWARE: Modified xClio A380 case w/ internal/external watercooling, EVGA NF68-A1 680i, Intel E6750 @3.4, 2GB DDR2-800 @ stock speed, and, of course, this card. Running XP home, soon to go to Vista ultimate x64.

Ruins systems very efficiently!

Thermaltake CL-W0044 Bigwater UV Sensitive Coolant
Thermaltake CL-W0044 Bigwater UV Sensitive Coolant

Pros: While your WC system WORKS, it's great.

Cons: Not so great after a few months when it starts to have little white deposits forming in the fluid. This clogged the pump in my C0rs@ir Nautilus 500 and caused it to fail. One day I noticed my CPU temp at 65C and freaked out when I found out that this fluid had killed my system. I two-dayed a sw!ft3ch kit for my CPU, NB and RAM, and all was well and peachy. I love my WC system now, but still thinking about upgrading to a 2-fan system that doesn't use the dumb in-bay pump/reservoir thing.

Overall Review: It says not to use this coolant on any other system other than a Thermaltake. They're not kidding! I disregarded this and paid the price - my hundred-and fifty-bean watercooling system corroded to death. DO NOT BUY THIS COOLANT FOR ANY OTHER SYSTEM THAN A THERMALTAKE!

Fine for someone who needs it

Rosewill RNA-U100W (Generation II) Universal Notebook Power Adapter 100W
Rosewill RNA-U100W (Generation II) Universal Notebook Power Adapter 100W

Pros: A few months ago, the power adapter for my Asus G2 died. I looked around and this seemed to be a cheap, viable option and it does work fine. If you need a power adapter for cheap, this is a great one to buy.

Cons: It is easy for the tip to come apart from the charging cable. The brick does get very hot. A few times I have plugged it in before remembering to set the voltage correctly for my laptop (19v in my case). Bad noises...

Overall Review: Make sure you know what voltage your old power adapter used to output! Very easy if it just gave up on you, it's on the bottom of the adapter. But, if you lose the adapter, you will need to do some research on what voltage your computer is meant to run at. Very fun if you don't have another computer and you have limited battery life.

Great little flash drive!

PQI Intelligent Drive i810 2GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) BF07-2032R0131

Pros: Works very, very well - It's tiny, it's fast, and it makes the geeks go, "ooh," without being so bulky and stupid looking to make the girl go, "ugh". This thing puts my old U3 to shame...

Cons: It's so good I have to nitpick - could be put on the wrong way, but you get used to it. I wish it had an activity LED so you could immediately confirm that you've put it in the correct way.

Overall Review: 10 bucks cheaper now... Evan more reason to buy it! It's a steal - even if you don't like it, what's thirteen bucks gonna hurt? Throw it in your next Newegg order for your own good.

Excellent card - universally recommended.

EVGA GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 512-P3-N841-A3
EVGA GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card 512-P3-N841-A3

Pros: The card speaks for itself! If you play new games and have the bread for this card it would benefit you to just stop reading reviews and buy it now. Like NOW. I just installed my second card, this time on my friend's computer, a converted HP-to-gamer machine. The card, once installed properly, ran like an absolute dream. Crysis on DX10 ran acceptably, but his 2 gigs of single-channel RAM and AMD X2 are holding him back, as is the motherboard,in all likelihood. Thus, it's medium-high settings for him. To run Crysis well at full settings on a high res, you will need ad minimum two of these cards, a 780i mobo, and an overclocked Q6600, along with 2 gigs of tight ram. I have very close to that in the system I have at home, and Crysis, although in DX9, runs at max graphics without the slightest hint of lag, I'd say 25 or 30 FPS minimum.

Cons: Not the card's fault, but definitely something to look out for. This card, when placed on this guy's mini-ATX mobo, perfectly - I mean PERFECTLY - covered all four of his SATA ports. I had to saw off one of the plastic supports for the HSF in order to get his SATA HDD cable in, and even then, it's a tight fit with the cable literally running through the end of the video card. The lesson here: CHECK BEFOREHAND if the card will cover any ports! If it does, be prepared to get a third-party cooler or mod it like I have.

Overall Review: Stop reading. Start buying.

Wonderful headset!

Creative FATAL1TY 3.5mm gold-plated Connector Circumaural Gaming Headset
Creative FATAL1TY 3.5mm gold-plated Connector Circumaural Gaming Headset

Pros: I love this headset. Love it. Everything about it just works, and works very well for the price! Easily favorable over my piece-of-junk $120 5.1 headphones that broke same day. These are awesome! I have given them a bit of time to burn in and loosen the drivers, and they have decent sound production. Not my Sennheiser HD 280s, mind you, but eggcellent for the price of these. The mic being detachable is a great feature, as I now use these with my iPod as they have awesome bass response on top of decently balanced mid and upper-range. Perfect for my taste - I have a dorm room with tower speakers and 3 subwoofers, for comparison.

Cons: These are not closed headphones, alas. You can hear outside noise, and others in the room can hear your music. Definitely a con for the people around me. The headset seems lightweight and, though nothing has happened yet, it seems easy to break. My HD 280s feel MUCH more substantial.

Overall Review: I highly recommend these to ANY gamer, VOIPer, etc. Anyone who can use the mic on this, should already own it. No winder it's already out of stock...
