not bad, could've been better

Pros: YouTube. NetFlix. Pandora. Plays all my old DivX videos. Plays BluRay disks and looks great. Very easy setup on both ethernet and WiFi. Onscreen menus are easy to navigate. Plays audio CD's with disk info from Gracenote.
Cons: DLNA is good when it works, but the frequent lock ups that shut down the player is frustrating. Photos take a while to load and seem to lock up the player after 20 to 30 minutes. (I hope this can be fixed with update.) Also will not play video files that are native from my Canon camera. Will play music from my computer, but no ID3 tags. On BluRay's have to use USB stick for BDLive content (no internal memory) and the USB port is on the front of player, meaning the front door is always open. The AccuWeather hub does not have my local weather (closest station is over 100 miles away).
Overall Review: I was mainly looking for my first BluRay player and this was not a bad choice. Has rich internet features (maybe HULU can be added as an update). The DLNA and positive reviews helped me choose. Other than the DLNA issues listed in CONS have been very happy with this player. I can live with the USB on front, but a rear USB would've been nice. I want to find the perfect player that does everything well, but I don't know if such an animal exists yet.

Pros: Price. Works as promised.
Cons: There is no gold lettering or fancy design, but it is behind the TV where most people will not notice.
Overall Review: Read all the positive reviews and thought i'd give it a try. Sure beats paying more than $30 at the Big Box for an attractive package. Nothing fancy, but works as good as the name brands.
Great (while it lasted)

Pros: These speakers really pump out the sound. Booming sub woofer. Sats sound OK to me. This is a 2.1 system, so doesn't use much space. Exactly what I wanted to replace the 4.1 Creative speakers and all that wiring. 3 times the watts wasn't bad either. I was using my computer as an alarm clock and, while I am a sound sleeper, these speakers would wake me up every time when the normal "loud" alarm clock wouldn't.
Cons: Absolutely no complaints until 2 weeks ago when the satellite speakers quit for no reason.
Overall Review: Currently going through the warranty process. First support tech asked me a canned response to check cables, control panel settings, etc. (I guess they have to ask these things.) The second tech that responded seemed to realize that I had a problem I couldn't fix and started walking me through the warranty process getting the required info (mailing address, purchase invoice, etc.). The third response was that they are sending a shipping label to me. He said approx a 2 week turn-around once I ship the speakers. I usually dread the warranty process, but Logitech made it as easy as possible. Response times were same day (just a few hours) and no phone calls so I wasn't waiting on hold. I will see what happens after I ship the speakers back in a few days. Newegg made it easy also by keeping my past purchases on file. Thank you.
Who Needs Apple?

Pros: Nice small size fits anywhere. 8 GB is plenty for me. Seems pretty sturdy, but just to be safe, I bought a case/armband for protection more than anything else. Good battery life. Excellent sound quality. Plays pics and video. Loads MP3's easily from WMP on XP and Vista (or you can drag-n-drop MP3's from Explorer). New firmware comes out fairly regular with bug fixes & enhancements. Has FM radio and sound recorder, but I don't use these much.
Cons: Propriatory USB port, which is common for Sansa. Occasionally the player freezes and have to reset it. Froze up 3x in 6 months (The first 2 times in first month prob my fault). It can take a while to play a specific song as it takes a lot of scrolling especially with my 1000 songs currently loaded. The 1.9" screen is fine for music info, OK for viewing pics (with a magnifying glass ha ha), but, IMO, is a pain for watching video. As for the case itself, seems rugged, but the ridge on the power switch has wore down after 6 months of regular use and now I have to use my fingernail to turn on and off (this is where the player lost an egg). Newegg sold out when I got this in November, so I paid $20 more locally.
Overall Review: Some people complain about the media converter for pics and video, but I have not had any issues using the software to convert DivX, AVI, WMV, MPEG2 and H264. Because of video issues above, I don't use for video anymore, but I do store pics of family and my cat that all my friends enjoy looking at. The people at Sandisk do read their forums and investigate any probs the users have and update firmware if needed. Even though I have some trouble turning on and off now, this is a very solid MP3 player thats also good for pics, an OK sound recorder and a decent radio. I just don't recommend it if you plan on watching alot of video unless your eyesight is very good. The Apple Touch looks slick, but seems a little big for me (both in size and price). I also concidered the Creative Zen 2.5". I would have liked an Archos player, but too expensive. The Sansa was a little cheaper than the Creative in November, but either one would probably make me happy.
Perfect fit

Pros: The near perfect fit for my aging Inspiron 1100. The Seagate DiscWizard software (downloaded) made the cloning process effortless once I got everything together.
Cons: None at this time. Hopefully won't have any.
Overall Review: Now my Inspiron HD is 4x bigger than before. Maybe next time I will finish the upgrades with a final 512 memory stick. I did make the mistake of not realizing that ATA for laptops is different than ATA for desktops. Took another 3 days for me to get an external 2.5 enclosure (from Newegg, of course). Even though I could have got a bigger HD, I didn't want to invest too much money. 80GB seemed about the right size for me.
Cheap but works

Pros: Got the job done. Cheap price. Aluminum exterior. Free screwdriver and leather pouch. No power adapter necessary (power from USB port). Free Shipping is always a plus.
Cons: Screws into plastic to secure case. The USB cable could be a little longer. The leather pouch is only big enough for the enclosure The USB and screwdriver can be squeezed in if you want, but it ain't pretty.
Overall Review: Had to use this to clone a laptop HD for my Inspiron 1100 on the cheap. Used the Seagate DiscWizard (free) and a burned CD to do this. I hope this is the only time I have to take the case apart since you are screwing into plastic. Now my Inspiron HD is 4x larger than before. I will keep the original HD in the enclosure for backup. A side note, only needed one of the two USB plugs. The 2nd one just provides extra power if needed. Use the 2nd plug only if the HD isn't getting enough power.
