Disappointed

Pros: I have nothing positive to say at this time.
Cons: While building up a new computer and in need of a hard drive, a friend suggested Newegg. As a first time visitor I spent hours getting familiar with the site I was drawn to an 80 GB Intel SSD that was clearly to small for my needs and out of my budget but seemed to be clearly advertised with a substantial Intel rebate. Infatuated with the claimed advantages of speed, reliability and low power drain plus rebate adjustment seemed to justify experimenting with the purchase. The rebate clearly stated limit 2 per household. I deducted that 2 80 GB SSD drives might meet my needs for the computer I was building. So clearly by clever advertising I was seduced into buying a product that I had no intention of buying when I went shopping. Things really went south when I one day received an email from Intel declining my rebate. I seemed to imply that I used the wrong form and could resubmit within 30 days, and it directed me to a new form of the same # that seemed to say no rebate payable. Not und
Overall Review: If it sounds to good to be true.......... Good luck you other rebate customers. Just be prepared to be disappointed!
