Great Device

EDIMAX EW-7206APG Wireless LAN Access Point
EDIMAX EW-7206APG Wireless LAN Access Point

Pros: I like try out new products especially when they are inexpensive like the Edimax 7206APG. I bought 2 of these almost a year ago to set up a wireless bridge (No Fiber needed, thanks). I also purchased one for home use because of having to reset my wireless router almost daily. Now with the Edimax WAP, I can connect to the internet w/o issues and get the benefit of connecting to my LAN for printer and file sharing. I am extremely pleased with the stability of the Edimax AP. I have used the Edimax Access Point in 4 of my clients businesses. In the past I had issues with Linksys,SonicWall,Trendnet and ValuePoint. The price and stability of the Edimax makes my job easier. In a hotel, I replaced a ValuePoint with an Edimax AP and RP-SMA to N adapter a 25' LMR400 cable and an outdoor mounted Hawkings Hi-gain antenna. ( Now I'm Using L-Com antenna's for installs.) I was able to gain internet coverage to the entire hotel which was never gained with the ValuePoint AP.

Cons: Wish I discovered them sooner.

Overall Review: With a wi-fi booster greater coverage can be gained.

Misleading

Link Depot ESATA-ESATA-UP 1.64 ft. (0.50m) USB Shared ESATA Cable for 2.5" SATA HD

Pros: No

Cons: Not a USB connection and Specifications information lacking. Unless you have an Esata port and I have not seen any computer to date that has one, don't waste your money.
