Thermaltake TR2 RX W0136RU 500W ATX12V Ver2.2 Modular Passive PFC PFC Power Supply
Thermaltake TR2 RX W0136RU 500W ATX12V Ver2.2 Modular Passive PFC PFC Power Supply

Pros: simple, quiet, and easy to adjust cords for space. cords are bundled as well so theres less room taken up by loose wires.

Cons: mid level wattage, hopefully termaltake does higher end models the same

Overall Review: to the one who wrote the one poor review. runs all that you need as long as your not like the technomonkey who overwatted it requests a new one then writes a poor review about how he overwatted the supply. dual vid cards, a slew of hds and other junk and yea youll over watt it like anyother 500w power supply. if you got a serious machine ,, go buy a serious power supply. high end gamers with good machines and not dual vid cards,,, BUY THIS POWER SUPPLY. youll have 2 cords with 4, 4 pin connectors and a 4 port sata cord for 4 sata drives, will run what you need it to as long as its in reason of course. no need for splitter cables you will have plenty off of the cords provided. ty newegg and tt for great products

bad buy

XFX Radeon HD 4890 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card HD-489X-ZSFC
XFX Radeon HD 4890 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card HD-489X-ZSFC

Pros: good price specs look nice

Cons: drivers, xfx, helping my friend build a pc with 2 of these... shoulda told him to get sapphire. no crossfire bridge comes. the drivers are the worst around. if you are foolish enough to buy this go to ATIAMD site for ccc xfx is junk. is becoming too much hassle to justify just getting these to run properly. vpu recoverys are already occuring. dont buy this unless you are xfx fanboy, much better companys to go with.

Overall Review: very glad i didnt buy them. feel bad for telling my friend to buy them. i buy sapphire and will continue to. recommend to everyone who reads this just go with someone else not xfx.

Best Deal On Newegg

Yamaha TSR-700 7.1 Channel AV Receiver with 8K HDMI and MusicCast & Klipsch Reference 5.1 Channel Surround Sound System Bundle
Yamaha TSR-700 7.1 Channel AV Receiver with 8K HDMI and MusicCast & Klipsch Reference 5.1 Channel Surround Sound System Bundle

Pros: For what you're getting at the price this is hands down the best deal you will find on newegg. The receiver new is 650, the speakers new are 300-500, you get both for 700. You won't find a better deal on here. The reference speakers are a great starting point to expand with, the receiver can push out 100 watts per channel, has tons of ports. Sound is great it's a yamaha.

Cons: The only real con is the reference speakers aren't for larger rooms. Again though for what you paying that's not even a con.

Overall Review: If you need a starting point for a component system, START HERE! Would buy this again without question.

Intel core i7 4820k review

Intel Core i7-4820K - Core i7 4th Gen Ivy Bridge-E Quad-Core 3.7GHz (Turbo 3.9GHz) LGA 2011 130W Desktop Processor - BX80633i74820K
Intel Core i7-4820K - Core i7 4th Gen Ivy Bridge-E Quad-Core 3.7GHz (Turbo 3.9GHz) LGA 2011 130W Desktop Processor - BX80633i74820K

Pros: Well this chip for the price will get you a solid pc. Not only that it gets you into the LGA 2011 socket. So when you can put the big money out, you get the really serious cpus. It will run every high end game at maximum settings no slow down at any time. Even lengthy RTS games like Sins of solar empire that have massive unit build ups. You cant go wrong purchasing this cpu to get you into the LGA 2011 socket. I have purchase 2 for 2 separate builds, and recommend anyone wanting a great gaming pc to go this route. Benchmark wise this cpu's numbers are equal to the absolute top tier cpu the LGA 1150 socket offers. When you consider this is the basement cpu of the 2011 socket and it costs the same as the 4770k, only a fool would pass up the LGA 2011.

Cons: It's not going to sleep with you....

dynatron r17 lga 2011 cpu cooler

Dynatron R17 Intel Sandy Bridge EP/EX Processors for socket 2011 3U/Workstation Active Solution 2 Ball Bearing CPU Cooler
Dynatron R17 Intel Sandy Bridge EP/EX Processors for socket 2011 3U/Workstation Active Solution 2 Ball Bearing CPU Cooler

Pros: Preset screws. No overtightening possible. No off alignment either. Wonderful quality as well for the cost. Have purchased 2 for 2 separate Intel i7 lga 2011 builds. No cons, the fan is easily detached for cleaning and install. Buy this cooler if you aren't looking to put out a lot of money for liquid cooling. Then when you want the liquid cooling by all means, but you will have not invested a whole lot in your temp cooler. It will be quality for that time.

Cons: none.

Great Buy

ASUS Crosshair III Formula AM3 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard
ASUS Crosshair III Formula AM3 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: This board is great. The bios is great and is very easy to use. Kind of hard to get into the setup because of how fast it loads through it but you get used to it. Plus thats not a bad thing to complain about. I hate to give asus a 4 egg on this one but there is a major con that if you aren't used to seeing you wont know whats wrong and it could detur you. Please read the con I hope asus does as well.

Cons: THIS IS A SERIOUS CON. the driver disk included needs to be just thrown out. Its not all of the disk thats the issue but the network adapter driver is pure JUNK!!!!!! This one issue wouldnt cause such a problem if it weren't for the fact the disk auto installs and theres no way else to do it. Once the disk is put in it starts to install all the drivers with no option screen or autoload menu to pick the choices or stop certain ones. Once again not a big issue until the network driver install memory dumps the whole PC. YES!!! everytime. The board works fine ethernet and all on Windows 7 64bit so its not even needed at ALL!!! just dont do it. I simply downloaded the chipset and other drivers from ASUS (except the network) and im still working fine. I think its realteks problem more then ASUS I dled the realtek driver from ASUS site and the same thing. Really annoying and totally unnecessary when it all works fine with no drivers for the network just skip that and you are ok.

Overall Review: I love Asus products. I would like a better network adapter from them, they should hook up with dlink.
