Does what it's supposed to.
Pros: It's small and yet very solid. I couldn't break this one without taking a hammer to it. No problems with operation. Basically, it's a no-nonsense flash drive that works.
Cons: It's pretty hard to disconnect from some USB ports. It's as if it is a little too big for the port. It comes preloaded with software. This, however, can be easily deleted.
Overall Review: What a great deal!
Pros: This product is great. Works well in resolutions 800X600 or 1024X768. Stays continuously on for several hours and no degradation in display.
Cons: Minor tearing while playing games. This is unnoticeable when watching movies or doing presentations.
Overall Review: I use this device to connect an older PC to my TV as a media center. The only way to get a better setup is to have a video card with video output. I haven't bothered with changing the display settings because it already looks great on default.
Cheap and does the job
Pros: Very cheap and has a strong signal. Works as anticipated.
Cons: I had to install the updated drivers from the manufacturer's website (ver. 188.8.131.52) in order for it operate correctly.
Overall Review: I use this card specifically for gaming over a wireless g Linksys router. I initially had unusually high pings and my connection would freeze up every 5 minutes. Installing the updated drivers fixed the issue. Now it performs like expected and has a stronger signal than my other computer right next to it.
Pros: Works perfectly. Simple and quick way to connect s-video to a composite connection.
Cons: Absolutely no cons whatsoever.
Overall Review: I have stopped at several retail stores asking the question "Do you have an s-video to RCA adapter?" Most stores didn't know what I was talking about and some said that it doesn't even exist! This product is exactly what I was looking for and works like a charm. It works well with my laptop which has an s-video output and even works better than the adapter that came with it! The adapter that came with my laptop only produced a grayscale image for some reason. This adapter does full color and doesn't look bad at all!
