Works with USB3 and eSATA
Pros: I tested it with two 1tb western digital blue drives and set it up as raid 1. I copied a few gigs worth of files to it, turned it off, removed 1 drive and replaced it with a blank drive the same model and size. I restarted the computer and the drive and it started rebuilding its self with no assistance from me. It took about 2 1/2 hours to rebuild
Cons: The little fan doesn't cool the drives down very much. Maybe my WD Blues run hotter than other drives.
Overall Review: Keep synchronization mode turned off until you get the raid setup. I have 2 computers with usb3 ports on the front of the case. This drive would not work on either one. It would just keep disconnecting and reconnecting. I had to use ports on the back of the case that are attached directly to the motherboard. I have other usb3 devices that work on my front ports but this would not.
