I was excited, I didn't know what I was in for...

Samsung CHG90 Series LC49HG90DMNXZA 49" 3840 x 1080 1ms 144Hz 2x HDMI DisplayPort Mini-DisplayPort HDR AMD FreeSync USB Hub QLED Curved Gaming Monitor

Pros: I'm coming from an Asus PG279Q monitor that has been exceptional and tough to find competition for. I wanted to get into the ultra wide space and I was tired of waiting for Asus to come out with their 35" ultrawide. I LOVE my samsung TVs so I decided to give this monitor a shot. The picture is beautiful, the black levels, the refresh rate, the interface and the brightness are all exceptional. The quality and design are very thought out and reassuring of the price you just paid.

Cons: The only con I can find for this display is the lack of G-Sync and the display resolution should be a flavor of 1440p. On the resolution though I've found the 3840 x 1080 to be perfect for gaming at the distance you will sit and the level a great graphics card will be able to push this resolution.

Overall Review: If you have a 10 series NVidia graphics card, I have mine running from a 1080 Ti and can play the following with little to no screen tearing: Witcher 3: Ultra settings, 3840 x 1440, 70-80 fps Fortnite: Ultra settings, 3840 x 1440, 200+ fps Destiny 2: Ultra settings, 3840 x 1440, 70-90fps The application that comes with the monitor (downloadable from samsung's website) is very versatile for screen layout allowing you to snap windows to predefined spaces (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, more, and each configurable). This is a game changing monitor, I'd recommend having at least a 60" wide desk with 30" of depth. Highly recommended!
