Keeping AGP Alive

Pros: Great bargain for keeping your AGP machine alive for another couple of years. Installation was a snap. Upgraded from a 9600XT and was happy with results: Avg FPS 68 in HL2 in 1024X768 with mostly max settings (AA off). Close Combat 2 runs FPS in low 30s at 800X640 on high settings. Quiet stock fan. Use the enclosed Molex cable to tee off of hard drive - floppy drive cable doesn't provide enough power. NewEgg's service is superb!!!
Cons: Stock cooling runs at 100% most of the time, with temp at 65-68C under full load. Not really a problem. Don't expect more than 5% improvement with overclocking - Sapphire has pretty much maxed this chipset out. It's basically a X1600XT. 128 memory bus is a bottleneck, but performance is still great.
Overall Review: My system is a stock Asus A7N8X-E Delux, AMD XP 3200+, 1MB Corsair TwinX runing at 2.2 MHz. Your mileage may vary.
Bought the Last One

Pros: Easily overclocks on air to 3.9 on stock voltage, 4.2 with higher voltages. Nice way to extend the life of my two year old AM3 system. Runs everything I throw at it. Looks like I got the last one they sold.
Cons: Power consumption and heat limit the practicality of overclocking by more than 8-10%. One of the cores is a little weak, requires more voltage to remain stable at 4.0 and above.
Excellent Product

Pros: I was nervous pairing this with the M4A79XTD EVO, since it's not listed on ASUS' QVL, but runs great as advertised. Just had to manually set voltage at 1.5, memory frequency at 1600, timings at 9-9-9-24 2T and absolutely no errors in Memtest 4.0. If you're one of the unlucky ones with BSODs and cold boot problems, I feel your pain, but they worked great for me.
Cons: I've always been a Corsair user. Feel like I'm cheating on them.
Two Cores Good

Pros: Great bargain. I wasn't able to unlock extra cores, but am able to overclock to 3.6 with 1.365V with a Zalman 9700 on low, and temp never gets above 33C in Prime95. Love those AMD products!!
Cons: Are you kidding?
Terrific product

Pros: Paired this with a X2 550, set multiplier to 18, and am easily overclocking to 3.6 with two cores. Handles G.Skill Ripjaw F3-12800CL9-2GBRL just fine at 1600 with minimal tweaking. Some people have had problems with this kit (it isn't listed in ASUS' QVL), but works great for me.
Cons: None, it's ASUS. Seldom ever had a problem with their boards. Only niggling complaint is ASUS' overclocking utilities. I prefer to use AMD Overdrive.
What a bargain

Pros: Great bang for the buck. Bought this to replace a 4870 that crashed after one year. Plan on buying another for Crossfire, but can run all games on max settings with great frame rates (e.g. Crysis on Very High @ 1280X780). Low power consumption is a plus. Newegg service is great as always.
Cons: Had to tweak some DirectX 8.0 and DirectX9.0 games in Windows 7, but have them maxed out now
