Generally good machine
Pros: Burr grinder, large capacity, relatively quiet (for a burr grinding machine), makes a very nice cup of coffee.
Cons: It's tall, it won't fit under the cabinets above the countertop. Check your available space. The opening to add water is rather small and out of the way. The manual is not the greatest, but I was able to figure things out with the spotty info.
Overall Review: This is a replacement for a 9+ year old Capresso Team Luxe. The Capresso is still going, but I thought I would be proactive. This unit has far fewer quirks than the Capresso for about a third the price (through Newegg). It makes a nice, strong cup of coffee on a single grind, something the Capresso couldn't do. So far I am very happy with the machine.
Not impressed
Pros: Large capacity
Cons: Manufactured 12/2014, Click Of Death 05/15.
Overall Review: The worst part about owning this failed drive is having to deal with HGST support. Receiving an RMA was no problem, done quickly online. The drive sat in their mail room for three days before they even acknowledged they had received it. It was another 10 days before the replacement was shipped, a little too nonchalant for a drive that is supposed to be enterprise grade.
I worked for 16 months
Pros: Nice case, cooling fan
Cons: eSATA started going flaky about 6 after about 5 months. I should have returned it then. USB still works, but eSATA was the main reason I made the purchase.
Overall Review: If it were cheaper, I wouldn't be disappointed, but I opted for a more expensive unit thinking the quality would be better. The cheaper eSATA enclosure I purchased is still kicking after having it longer.
Amazing motherboard
Pros: I purchased this motherboard 3.5 years ago and it has been a great board from the get. I have moved it through three different cases with three different coolers, two different processors, and two different video cards and it has never skipped a beat. The manual is great and easy to find the info you need.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I would definitely recommend this to someone wanting to give Gigabyte a try. Like anything electronic, if you take the necessary precautions and make sure you're static discharged, don't try to force things, and take your time, you'll have a great box!
Well-made with thought out features
Pros: Plenty of drive space. Plenty of space for fans. Can accommodate the Kraken 280mm radiator. Built-in fan hub. It sits up high enough on the rubber feet to actually allow airflow from the power supply. I had to put my last case on 2x4's.
Cons: Top external 5.25 drive bay is unusable with large radiator installed. Fan hub requires a 4-pin Molex for power, would have preferred SATA power connector. Since I only have 4 fans plugged into the hub, I might just buy a cable to hook it to the system board.
Overall Review: Well made case. For under $100 you can't go wrong.
Surprising quality
Pros: Case is nicely padded. The keyboard is padded and encased in "pleather." Clips seem sturdy, my HP Slate 7 fits perfectly.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: I had purchased another case from another vendor for the same price. That case lasted about two weeks before the keyboard died I had to do some mods to the original case to make it usable. This case has worked great right out of the box. It is well made.
Sent shipping notice, did not ship that day.
I received a shipping notice from Altatac on Wednesday, but the item did not actually ship Until Friday. It appeared to me to be a ploy to get paid for the item ("we won't charge your card until it ships") a couple of days early. The item arrived in good shape, as described, but it took a week for it to arrive.
