Pros: The machine is really nice looking. Removal of the back panel to get to the expansion slots is simple and just takes a few minutes. The machine is really quick on boot up, handles most instructions in a "click fast" manner. It is a chunk however it leaves the impression of a very solid well built machine.

Cons: Expansion is limited to specific series components, this information was not documented when the machines were released.

Overall Review: When I ordered the machine, every review indicated that the machine was blazing fast and had expandable memory and an extra slot for an SSD. In none of the reviews did it state that the SSD slots were not compatible with SATA SSDs. I ordered a spare Samsung Evo 500 gig SSD to add for applications to the machine. It did not show up when I installed it. Asus finally updated the manual that I had to go online to get, it indicated in the notes that the machine is only compatible with the M.2 2280 series SSDs. This was a disappointment. A compatibility matrix for memory and SSDs via ASUS would be nice.
