Lenovo T61 Memory Upgrade12/26/2014 4:10:17 PM

Pros: Upgraded my T61's memory with this 4GB module, had 2x2GB sticks, left one in and added this Mushkin 4GB stick for a total of 6GB registering on my x64 Win8.1 laptop. Easy and painless upgrade with no problems so far, and machine running faster.

Cons: None.

Lenovo T61 Drive Replacement12/26/2014 4:06:48 PM

Pros: Easy swap with a T61, replaced the oem 160GB drive that was failing with this 250GB. So far so good, it's a bit faster and more storage than I need for this old back-up laptop.

Cons: None so far.

works beautifully with Win71/25/2010 11:15:24 PM

Pros: External antenna works exceptionally well, since my pc is under a heavy desk Price was right Signal strength was significantly better than my Linksys and Buffalo G cards

Cons: none so far

Overall Review: I had problems getting a strong signal with my desktop positioned under my desk. I went through 2 different PCI cards until picking this card up w/it's external antenna. The antenna sits on top of the desk, I now have excellent signal strength to my network - works excellent!

Great Server Box10/28/2009 11:46:56 AM

Pros: Very small footprint compared to my old monster server. Quiet, releatively cool. Possible space for 2 HDD's using 5.25" bay with adapter. Processing power is adequate if you're planning to use this as a NAS/File/WHS server.

Cons: Could have better fan/cooling system. This is probably not the right solution if you're looking for a daily desktop or HD Media server.

Overall Review: My configuration: 2GB Ram 1 x 500GB 7200 Seagate (OS drive) 1 x 1.5TB Samsung Ecogreen drive (using 5.25" optical drive bay with adapter) Win 7 Ultimate

good3/22/2007 11:25:38 PM

Overall Review: I haven't had any issues with SD flash cards, this one isn't any different, works great.

nice camera3/22/2007 11:23:53 PM

Pros: Small size, nice black/silver look, fast startup, solid design, excellent image quality. Very happy with this camera so far, can't wait to take more shots with it.

Cons: limited manual mode, but hey, it's a point and shoot, not a slr.

Overall Review: Upgrade from powershot sd450, this camera is smaller and takes cleaner photos vs my old camera. I've owned Canon digitals since the s100, the powershots only get better, I wouldn't own another brand.

Works excellent in a 12" PowerBook12/29/2006 5:05:03 PM

Pros: Replaced my 512mb stick w/this 1GB to max out my 1.33GHz PowerBook for a total of 1.25GB RAM (256mb onboard). I ran memtest 4.2 and it passed w/no issues. This is great memory at a good price. Runs well with a slight speed increase on apps.

Cons: none so far

Overall Review: I've seen several reviews with compatibility issues on iBooks and PowerBooks. After reading those who had no problems, I decided to give it a shot - glad i did. Just RMA if it's a no-go, whadya got to lose?

PowerBook 12" replacement12/9/2006 8:08:33 AM

Pros: I previously used a Samsung 60gb notebook drive in an old Vaio I had, which has worked excellent (2 years ago). This drive is performing equally as well, is fast and quiet in my 12" PowerBook.

Cons: None with this product so far.

Overall Review: I used to have a bad view of Samsung 5 years ago, within the past few years, the quality i've seen in their electronics has changed my impression of the brand.

So far: fast rips and burns11/14/2006 7:08:05 PM

Pros: Fast and relatively quiet ripping and burning

Cons: This drive is a joint venture between NEC and Sony, not sure if that's a good or bad thing, so far so good.

Overall Review: I had a NEC 3550a and it performed well for 6 months, then unfortunately, I started getting read errors. RMA'd for this model, since the 3550's are discontinued, we'll see how it holds up. I use the drive for high volumes of ripping audio cd's, burning both dvd-r and cd-r's.

Great PS - Can't Beat It9/9/2006 12:54:23 PM

Pros: My 4th Thermaltake PS, never had one go bad yet. This one powers my AMD X2 3800+, w/3 hard drives, 1 optical drive, and 4 case fans, 24-7 uptime w/out issues. There are better options out there w/more power, but these work excellent - they're so cheap it makes sense to buy one just for a backup if you ever need it.

Cons: n/a

Overall Review: my setup: AMD 64 X2 3200+ w/stock cooling, ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe, PNY Geforce 6600 256MB, 1GB Corsair XMS, Cooler Master Praetorian, Thermaltake TR2 430W PS, NEC 3550A DVD-R, Seagate 80GB SATA II, 2 Maxtor 250GB

Another Great ASUS9/9/2006 12:49:05 PM

Pros: This is my 4th Asus board and I've never had any problems with them. I don't use SLI, but I wanted this board for all the features (8 sata, firewire, overclocking features, etc.) it offered. Been running 24-7 and zero problems w/my X2 3800+.

Cons: I've heard many stories about the chipset fan dying, so far so good here, runs around 6250rpm, and can't hear it over my case fans anyway.

Overall Review: my setup: AMD 64 X2 3200+ w/stock cooling, ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe, PNY Geforce 6600 256MB, 1GB Corsair XMS, Cooler Master Praetorian, Thermaltake TR2 430W PS, NEC 3550A DVD-R, Seagate 80GB SATA II, 2 Maxtor 250GB.

Nice Upgrade9/9/2006 12:29:00 PM

Pros: This was an upgrade from an old 2500+ Barton I've had for the past 3years. The real improvement I notice is while encoding music and DVD's, which is noticeably faster than my single core Barton. I can also surf the web, and listen to music while encoding in the background w/out a hiccup. It runs stock with the retail HSF and thermal pad at around 31 degrees C idle, and have seen it go no higher than 45 degrees C full load on both cores.

Cons: There are faster chips out now, but for the price - you can't beat this dual core.

Overall Review: I was deliberating on whether to upgrade to a intel conroe setup, but the price of those mobo's and processors and the fact that you have to upgrade to DDR2 memory, made me decide otherwise. There's always another time for upgrades :]

Fast and Quiet9/9/2006 12:20:22 PM

Pros: My first SATA w/3.0Gb/s drive, very impressed with the speed and noise level over my older Maxtor PATA drives.

Cons: n/a

Overall Review: Might have picked up a larger capacity if i had to do it again (160gb?), although this is my system drive so no big deal.

cool case9/9/2006 12:17:44 PM

Pros: My second Cooler Master case, i've built many systems with other case brands (lian li, thermaltake, antec, etc) and these are my favorite hands-down. Great color black and he quality of these cases are top-shelf, you won't be disappointed. If you want a well built, solid, and cool case for your next build - look no further.

Cons: Like others have mentioned, the process to change/clean the screens for the front 2 fans could be improved or redesigned.

Overall Review: I'm not a fan of plastic cases, these aluminum Cooler Master Praetorian designs are simple and easy to work with inside.

4/24/2006 3:14:10 PM

Pros: I usually build with ASUS mobo's only, but gave this a try and had great success. Very easy to setup, up and running within an hour, rock solid and zero problems first time around.

Cons: As a previous reviewer mentioned, the video card is very close to the chipset fan on this board, otherwise none.

Overall Review: Great mobo with excellent features for the money, i'd definitely build another system with this board.

6/20/2003 11:25:39 AM

Comments: Great camera! i've had mine for 5 months w/a 256mb card. easy to use, takes great pictures, small enough to fit in your pocket. i've turned 4 friends on to this camera and everyone loves it. i've had two other digitals (nikon coolpix 5000 and an older canon) and this beats them both as far as usability, construction and quality (Nikon was 5mp and took excellent quality pictures, but to large and cumbersome navigation for my taste). My only complaint is some shots turn out w/red eye on the subjects during low light, i correct this w/photoshop....

Comments: Got a bad board, first time i had to RMA w/Newegg and first time i've had a bad MSI product. I tried 3 different brands of memory - crucial 2100ddr, kingston hyperX 2700DDR, and generic 2700DDR all resulted in the board not posting. using a 400W Wintech PS and a XP 1800+. There's no refund, so i'll post how my new board works out when I get another.

Comments: Had one 256mb stick running @ CAS 2, bought a second a few weeks ago, but that one would not take the CAS 2 setting? Overall, excellent RAM for the money - even at 2.5 ! As usual, Newegg delivery and service was flawless.
