Solid simple Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.
Pros: cheap when bought with discount and rebate. Solid simple Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. very good if you only need a Keyboard without fancy.
Cons: default on is Full red LED on, have to turn it off manual every time boot on PC. The cable is 5.5 feet not 6.
Overall Review: The overview say it has onboard memory .... may make you think it has user define function keys. no it is just a Solid simple Mechanical Gaming Keyboard.. no driver need to download, no software need to install.no fancy functions.
Pros: low price after promote for Mechanical Cherry Red Switches Keyboard
Cons: look like CM didn't through test it with different systems. I got different result with different systems. I got perfect result with my Intel Desktop: BIOS init it fast , windows installs driver fast and keyboard returns from mode changing fast. I got half OK result with my Intel tablet notebook, BIOS doesn't init it, so no way to use the keyboard when POST. But after going into windows, keyboard works just fine. But in my game AMD Desktop, BIOS take more then 30 seconds to init the keyboard with more than 50% fail rate when cold boot. after going to windows , windows re-init the keyboard again, so there will be another 30 seconds waiting for keyboard coming back. If I change the keyboard's mode (6/Full N Key Rollover)or(1ms~250ms), the keyboard will take another 30 seconds to coming back with very high fail chance.
Overall Review: too bad CM didn't fully test its products and I just happen have PC not work well with it. The Keyboard still works with my AMD machine, only every booting time and changing keyboard's mode become a nightmare to me. The keyboard itself is good, but the compatible issues cannot let me give more than 3 points to it.
good cheap drive with rebate
Pros: a Blu-Ray R drive as expect
Cons: only come with Power2go 7 which can not pay Blu-Ray Video Disc
Overall Review: Ordered at the end of april and get a drive which is built at april also. so I don't think I need a firmware update with a few days old drive. But still Asus's firmware update site has bug, you cannot go pass the OS option link to get firmware update. 12X already is the limit of Blu-Ray Drive, so any new model will not give you a lot improvement.
