SAMSUNG 850 PRO 2.5" 256GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-7KE256BW
SAMSUNG 850 PRO 2.5" 256GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-7KE256BW

Pros: Had this on pre-order and finally got my rig built. Very fast after coming from using velociraptor harddives. Windows 7 install was a breeze without any issues. Boot times and general use is much faster than what I'm use to. Very happy that I went this SSD, and I'm sure you'll hear it often mention in more reviews that its fast. 10yr warranty.... can't complain about that. Can stick them just about anywhere in a case, small, thin and very light. Even a zip tie will anchor it down.

Cons: none

Great Ride.

Intel Core i7 6th Gen - Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I76700K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530

Pros: I'm watercooling and with vcore at 1.312 with 4.6 overclock riding with temps hovering at 57C when running OCCT for 24hrs all is good. My memory is GSkill running at its rated 3400mhz with OCCT and memtest running shows no errors during testing with cpu overclocked during the long run.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Motherboard is AsRock Z170 Extreme 7+ with SAMSUNG 950 PRO M.2 512GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4= awesome.

EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P2 220-P2-1000-XR 80+ PLATINUM 1000W Fully Modular EVGA ECO Mode Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply

Pros: - Fully modular - 10yr warranty - Plenty of power for all my needs and future upgrades (SLI or Crossfire) - Labeled plugs and cables for simple installation - Cables have good length for my mid size case - Remains cool and quite while under a load.

Cons: None

Overall Review: If you're looking for a reasonable priced 1000w good quality psu with long warranty coverage I would keep this one on your list when researching and shopping for a psu.

Great board

GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-UD5H LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Has a heavy construction feel to it with good quality components. I paired up a 4790k with it which I have running at 4.8ghz completely stable and my Gskill trident X is running at its rated 2400mhz error free. I disabled all the power saving options and unused ports. Used Prime95 and memtest to check for stability and after a 16hr run it was still purring along without any errors or overheating.Simple for overclocking and very stable board. Lots of room for expansion in the future.

Cons: none

Overall Review: Prefer the old school mode for the bios rather than the newer modes but its nice having both options.

Happy

Pros: After reading about the heating issues with the L3batch I decided to wait a couple months before ordering in hopes that they'd be sold by then. Thankfully I received a L4batch which doesn't seem to have this issue. I'm using a custom waterloop though which does the job well. I'm currently running all 4 cores @4.8ghz all the time using 1.402 Vcore and its remained completely stable after running Prim95 for 16hrs. Max temps fluctuate between 77-82C. I can even run it completely stable @ 4.9ghz with 1.45 Vcore but the temps creep into the low 90C after hours into Prime95 which is a wee too high for my comfort. My 16gigs of GSkill tridient X runs right along with it at its rated speed of 2400mhz while error free.

Cons: None other than the stock heatsink but I never use them anyway.

Overall Review: Happy... happy. :)

Very nice headset.

Sennheiser GAME ZERO PC Gaming Headset - Black
Sennheiser GAME ZERO PC Gaming Headset - Black

Pros: Keep in mind I'm coming form Senn. HD 555 which sound great but lack in quality construction. Those owning them will know what I'm talking about... already owned 2 pairs and had the same problem with both pairs. This is a much better quality build with brackets running down both sides of the ear cuffs rather than one bracket on front. Both brackets are tied into a heavy duty pin which connects to the adjustable head band. These are much better in canceling out outside noise, after completely turning down volume from dial on ear piece, I still have to pull them off to hear when my wife or daughter are talking to me. These have slightly more bass than the ONE but not quite as much highs if you look at the specs. More bass than the HD 555 from personal experience. The highs certainly don't lack though. Very well balanced for gaming. Surround sound through software for gaming is very accurate and not overpowering and all sound is centered around player. Mic is super clear and already have others asking what I'm using. Muted by simply raising the boom. More clear and crisp sounds than from my 555.

Cons: Tight fit as usual with Senn, but I don't really see this as a con because they always breakin, adjusting to comfortably fit head size over time.

Overall Review: Not much but other than really pleased with them.
