Fast, Solid Performance!
Pros: -Very high sequential and random speeds for both reading and writing. -Silent operation (expected of an SSD) -Slim enclosure, fits into any 2.5" drive space, even "Ultrabooks" -Simple, clean enclosure design looks good in almost any case -Pricing for this SSD is lower than most in this performance category Installed this SSD into my 5th Gaming Mid-Tower build. You can only just barely hear the case and PSU fans, doesn't get much better than that. Boot time on a Gigabyte X99 DDR4 Mobo is in the sub 9 second range on average. The SSD was easy to format, and was instantly recognized by the MoBo without any need to change settings around. Also tested this drive in my 13" Macbook Pro with great results. I'm pretty sure it boots and loads programs faster than the Retina MBP's that already come with SSD's in them. So, Mac OS X is compatible.
Cons: Not the fault of the manufacturer, but the price of an SSD is still pretty high and doesn't seem like it will be falling any time soon. However, this is the price we pay for the luxury of owning the fastest components.
Overall Review: If you're looking to get into the SSD game, look no further. This drive is a drop-in installation into almost any of your already existing SATA machines, or your new build. This isn't the fastest SSD, nor the slowest, but it's a great "jack of all trades". The price is great for the performance you get. Also, who doesn't want a computer that boots in 10 seconds, am I right? I'm very happy with my purchase.
