Good with some flaws

Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail
Microsoft SIDEWINDER X4 Keyboard - Retail

Pros: The keyboard is a pretty major upgrade from my previous Saitek Eclipse (very first version). Mainly because of the Anti-Ghosting. Some people say that it is more then needed, but not everyone is built the same. I use ESDF instead of WASD and I use the arrow keys in some games. Most keyboards have very selective anti-ghosting, but this keyboard fixes most of the problems I've had. The keys feel pretty good and the macro buttons work well.

Cons: The biggest problem I have with the keyboard is the left Caps Lock key. It is too close to the "A" key and I continuously accidentally hit the Caps Lock key. On other keyboards such as my laptop, there is a space between them or the key has a space that is half its normal height. The other problem I have it the wrist rest. I am not a fan of any wrist rest and sucked it up when I got this one since I knew it was not going to come off. But that aside, the wrist rest has a hard plastic cover that doesn't fall in line with the rest of the keyboard and makes it feel a bit cheap. Not to mention that it isn't too pleasing to rest your wrists or hands on it.

Overall Review: It should have a Windows key on the right side of the keyboard as well. Also, for some strange reason, the Windows key is disabled when I have my third set of macros set.

Most Critical Review

Not for 10.5in Video Cards

Thermaltake Tsunami VA3000BWA Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Thermaltake Tsunami VA3000BWA Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: -Light weight -Easy to hide cables -Fairly good air flow.

Cons: -Have to remove tooless clamps to install HD 4890 -HDD cage can bend easy when removing it, in my opinion this should be the only thing that is steel -2 HDD spaces have to be clear in order to use a 10.5in video card (you can do it with 1 if you leave the second space from the top open, but the video card rides on top of the hard drive in the 3rd space) -Can't use all the hard drive bays -Had to remove the top usb/firewire/audio ports to better manage cables -Lock on the front can get stuck -There is a metal clip for the front panel blocking you from taking off the plastic plate for the top 5.25in bay. You can do 2 things, break off the edge of the plastic plate that holds the screw or take off the metal clip. -Had a bit of trouble putting the PSU in the case

Overall Review: I am trying to replace my good old full tower Xaser III because I am really tired of breaking my back when going to lan parties and the Tsunami does not fit my needs. The Xaser III has been just a great case over the years and it has been hard to find a replacement to fit my needs of high end gaming and massive storage. What would make this case work? -Turn the HDD cage 90 degrees and move it forward to allow 10.5 in video cards -Design tooless system that works with high end video cards -Use the same locking design from the 5.25 in bays in the HDD cage (much like my beloved Xaser III) -Add a fan to the top of the case -Move the top usb to the front panel and out of the way of the power cables -Change the side panel fan to 120mm

Perfect Office Mouse

Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical
Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical

Pros: Plug and play Durable Good dpi All around great mouse

Cons: None

Overall Review: This is the perfect mouse for around the office. The only thing that it lacks are side buttons, but they aren't really needed for what my users need to be doing.

Great, but second thoughts about the size

SUPER TALENT PICO-C 16GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) STU16GPCN
SUPER TALENT PICO-C 16GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) STU16GPCN

Pros: Great price for the size of the drive. Decent transfer rates when dealing with large amounts of files. Compact, durable, and virtually industructable.

Cons: I've come across a problem from time to time where it becomes a challenge to plug it into a usb port. Sometimes it goes in fine, but in other cases such as when I was copying some data from a friend's computer, you had to force it into the port as if you were trying to plug it in the wrong way. Then when I was trying to pull it out, I snapped the keychain and just wiggled it out.

Overall Review: I was attracted to the size both physically and logically, but now I can definately see the advantage of the regular size thumb drives. Other then that, it works great.
